''Get out of the car,'' someone ordered.

I looked up and saw Luc.

''Who is it?'' I asked.

''People from my old coven, they wont hurt you,'' he promised.

I nodded and he helped me out of the car. We walked there in a slow motion, probably because of me. Luc could walk to incredible speeds, but I couldn't.

''Oh! This is the girl you were talking about, Luc!'' The girl squeaked.

''Yeah, this is Julie Swan. Julie, this is Melissa Obediah and Hezekiah Micajah.''

They were really different names. Melissa was kinda common, though. They didn't look like Luc and the others. I didn't understand.

''It's nice to meet you, Julie,'' Hezekiah smiled.

He seemed nice, ''same here.''

''Eum… I think we should go,'' Luc started, ''I have to get Julie back.''

''Oh yes, before it gets dark,'' Melissa smirked.

Something told me that she wanted to say dangerous.

''Bye,'' Luc placed a hand on my shoulder.

''Bye,'' I said.

They smiled at me, ''good bye.''

Why was it that my eyes were drawn to them. Luc basically had to pull me away. When I was safely tucked in my seat, Luc turned to me.

''Sorry about that,'' he spoke.

''Oh, it's alright. They seemed n-''

He raised his finger, making me stop talking. He pulled the car in drive and started to speed off. It was silent until the car was out of eye sight.

''If you ever see them again, run.'' He muttered.

''Why?'' I whispered.

''Just because,'' he growled.

''Okay,'' I said.

The car feel silent again. I didn't really want to bother Luc. He seemed deep in thought. I didn't know how long we were silent for, but we were already in Forks again.

''Julie?'' He asked.

I kept my gaze forward, ''yes?''

''Do you have a lot of homework?'' His random question made me look at him.

''Eum… Yeah,'' I smiled.
 

He pulled in front of my house Before I could ask how he knew where I lived, he spoke.

''Need help?''

I thought for a second, ''are you bullet proof?''
