Bella's Little Sister!
I really didn't understand. They were really nice. Or did they do something to Luc and the others that I don't know about? I don't know. Would they? So many unanswered questions. It pissed me off. The young vampire in front of me didn't look sure about something. I wish I knew what he was thinking. It would help at moments like this.
I reached my hand out, ''Luc?''
His eyes flashed to my face, ''what?''
''You're daydreaming,'' I whispered.
I heard my father clear his throat from the living room.
''You should go-'' I started.
''I'll be in your room by the time you're down there,'' he said.
His back swiftly turned before I could say anything.
''Is he gone?'' My father asked.
I felt a vain in the back of my head.
''Yeah!''
The living room went quiet, so I spoke up again.
''I'm going to get ready and go to bed,'' I said.
''Your bedtime isn't this early, honey,'' Charlie said.
''I know, but I'm tired.''
''Okay,'' Charlie muttered, a bit suspicious.
I pressed my lips in a hard line and made my way to the washroom. Everything I needed was already there so going back to my room wasn't needed. Confusion was still aside me as I prepared myself for a deep slumber (yeah right). Like I could sleep with a vampire in my room… That's a sentence I never thought I'd say. My crimson colored brush made it's was threw my black hair. I was taking my time. It's not that I didn't want to see him. It's just that… I didn't even know!
''Let's wrap this up…'' I muttered putting away everything.
As soon as the bathroom was clean (enough), I climbed down the old, wooden stairs. I cleared my throat lightly before going downstairs.
''Goodnight dad, Bella, Edward,'' I smiled and turned.
''Oh, Julie.'' Charlie spoke.
''Yes, father?'' I gritted my teeth.
''That boy, what was his name?'' Charlie asked.
He obviously didn't forget, ''Luc…'' I muttered.
''What was the boys second name?''
''August, Charlie,'' I hissed his name.
He made a face.
