With that said the two girls hung up the phone. Spencer laid down on her bed and fell asleep listening to her iPod. Ashley on the other hand, sat on her bed and wept thinking if she was doing the right thing or not by not expressing her feelings to Spencer. The love she had been feeling for her best friend of three years was so strong that she had not even looked at another female. She knew that holding back for another little while would be better for the two of them; then maybe even Spencer would come around and tell Ashley she had feelings for her more than just as a friend.

                The light shown in brighter than ever before, Spencer knew she was in for a long day. Once she was up she grabbed her stuff and headed out to the taxi to take her to the airport. She sat in the backseat thinking of ways to talk to Aunt Rose about things. Her father was right, she needed to visit Aunt Rose because she always made her see things more clearly when the fog was thick with no end in sight. Her taxi stopped and she got out and took her luggage to the Delta desk and checked in and in a few minutes she was on her way down the corridor to her plane. She had not been on a plane in a few years, but as she sat down she looked down at her cell phone to turn it off and there was a text message on it. Spencer opened the message, it was from Ashley and it read,

‘Hey Spence, hope u have a gr8 time with ur Aunt, pls don’t 4get the

  lil people here in LA, have a gr8 trip C U soon, luv Ash”

After she read it she smiled thinking of her best friend, she was a sweet girl always sending her little messages. It was almost like Ashley was flirting, but in a different way. Spencer didn’t know but she cared for Ashley a lot even if some people did not like it. She shut off her phone and leaned back in her seat and fell asleep until the worst noise was heard by her ears. The piercing noise woke Spencer up from a deep sleep. As she opened her eyes her left leg started shooting pains up to her head and she looked around and saw that the plane door was opening. The plane was descending at maximum speed, everything was blowing around in the wind.
