Spencer’s P.O.V.

I met my parents and Glen in the lobby of the hospital. Glen was still wearing his tux from prom night. My mom was in her hospital outfit. Since the shooting wounded 12 victims, she will be working overtime for awhile.

“Spencer…are you ok?” My dad asked. “You took a while getting dressed.”

“Yeah, well I had some company…”

“Was it Ashley?” Glen said loudly while standing up. “That bitch. Spencer, I told you she was a whore. If you would have listened, none of this-.”

“SHUT UP GLEN!” I screamed. “Don’t you realize I know that and it’s killing me?” I broke down into tears as my father held me.

“Arthur, I have to work but I’ll call you when I’m on my way home.” My mom said as she rushed towards the ER.

“Glen, Spencer, let’s get you home. And no more talk from you Glen about Ashley. Just let it be.”

Glen grunted in response as we headed home. I was still crying and thinking about Ashley with Aiden. But even though I was pissed and heartbroken, my heart jumped when I remembered her telling me that she wasn’t sure about her choice. It would be kind of pathetic to take her back right away if she chose me. Then she would be in control again and that’s not going to happen.

When we arrived at the house, Glen changed out of his tux and then dad fixed him some food. I had made myself sick to my stomach thinking about Ashley and Aiden, so I wasn’t hungry at all. I went up to my room and was greeted with hundreds of things that reminded me of Ashley. My bed where we spent so many hours talking…and having sex. My closet that was filled with some of her clothes. CD’s she burned for me. Pictures of us. The dolls she asked me to prom with. Notes from her. I could even smell her scent in my room and it made me dizzy. That added to my nausea as I ran to the bathroom and threw up. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I realized that I couldn’t picture myself without Ashley. I needed to get her gone from me.
