A Vampire's Lament – (Chapter: 5-Death at the Chapel)
I could fight her because I was strong enough but there was another presence that scared the hell out of me. "Ashley! What’s going on?" I hear a scared voice call out to me. "Spencer!" I begin to yell until I tumble on an invisible crack on the floor. My body hit the floor hard and I was shocked that it hadn’t completely crumbled below me.
Another taller vampire woman had stood before me, and there was concern and fear written on her facial expression. "Please! Don’t hurt me! SPENCER, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE AND GET HELP!" I scream but I was immediately hushed by the gentle voice of the taller woman. The young fledgling who had just finished her gigantic meal ran out to the hallway with joy radiating out of her personality.
"Arial, I think we’ve found Misty’s descendant. The mortal is in the building somewhere so fetch her." She demanded quietly. Arial, the inexperienced vampire, spoke before attending to her duty. "It’s a pleasure to meet you. We’ve been looking all over for you since the connection had been made." She told me with such grace and politeness.
I was still fearful for my life as I groveled on the floor. I was surrounded by unimaginable power and I’m appalled I haven’t met my death yet.
I heard rushed footsteps on the stairs so Arial didn’t have to do much to complete her task.
My heart sank as I saw Spencer reaching the top of the stairs. "What the fuck-" She began but stopped cold. I could tell by the dreadful confusion building up inside of her that she was horrified by what she saw. Arial, surprised at the girl’s beauty, instantly launched herself at Spencer.
She forgot to hide her fangs and the blood that covered her mouth. "GABRIELLE!" Arial screamed, attaching herself to my friend and my heart nearly failed at that point when the young immortal embraced her.
"What!? I’m not Gabrielle! Argh! Help!" She yelled, struggling to push the girl off of her. Oh Jesus…
"Arial, release her now! We need to speak with you two." Evana stated, beckoning her fledgling to come to her. Spencer was trembling and crawled towards me as I grabbed her hand roughly.
"As you are aware, you two made an unspeakable connection that hasn’t been made in over four hundred years. It is perfect timing actually because there is a war going on between the immortals and…" She continued to say, restraining Arial who was dying to touch Spencer again.
"Fuck you! I know what you want, and we’re not going to give ourselves to you!" I yell with suppressed rage. With that, I feel myself hovering above the floor with an apparently flabbergasted Spencer.
I rushed us over to the nearest window and I break it open, protecting Spencer from the shards that were flying everywhere. I could feel the sunlight on us now, and my shades fall on my nose to protect my eyes from the burning rays. From up above, we hear Arial and Evana shouting at us, begging us to return.
"We need your help, descendant of Misty! There is war!"
I ignore her and I forced Spencer to run along with me towards the school again. Spencer was afraid, and confused but not as much as she was angry.
"Freak! Let me go! What are you?" I hear her scream into my ear as I forced her to run. Kyla, Aiden, and Chelsea were staring at us up ahead and although Kyla hadn’t said anything, she read my mind and ran away from Spencer’s friends. Aiden was chasing after us and the poor pregnant Chelsea couldn’t catch up.
Spencer was still struggling but I managed to push her in my vehicle. "SHUT UP AND LET ME EXPLAIN!" I hear myself growling, now flashing my fangs at the frightened girl.
I knew she wanted to jump out of my car but she was too late; the car had already begun moving and I was ready to tell her everything about me and my race. I knew it was too soon but under the circumstances, this had to be dealt with right away.

You have made my day.. I hope Spencer will take it well from what Ashley is telling her. Post soon please!!!
Awesome update i love you :P PMSLater Dayz
Wow, now I’m intrigued about what Evana is talking. Good Job
sort of sounds like those two vampires are good maybe not but sounds like it and that’ll be cool if they are and they need spence and ash to help stop the evil doers…lol pms
It really doesn’t seem like Evana and Arial want to kill either of them because if they did, they could have easily done it. Maybe the way Ashley heard the story was wrong because it really seems like they were trying to help. Hopefully Spencer listens to Ashley. Great update, can’t wait for the next one, I really love this story.
