A Vampire's Lament – (Chapter: 5-Death at the Chapel)
I felt my hunger tremble underneath my black tank top and Odette heard it speak in desperation. I blush of course because I hate it when your hungry stomach loudly echoes in a quiet room.
"Sit with me, mother." I tell her after she giggled at my embarrassment.
I was supposed to be mad at Odette and Judith but I refused such negative emotions to control me. They were only doing this to protect the Davies family from complete extinction so I should be nothing more or less than grateful.
Odette walks to my bed, setting the tray of the delicious treats on the bed stand before laying next to my lazy, exhausted body. "I was going to ask if you were hungry but I needn’t anymore since your stomach subtly told me." She said with a large smile on her face.
I smiled as well and took the ding-dong she offered me with grace. "Thanks a lot." I reply, stuffing my face with my new favorite treat thanks to Spencer. "How have you been doing, Ash? Sleeping well?" She asks, now passing me the large glass of blood. I hastily gulp it all and wipe the bloody stains on my lips with my top.
I know it’s unladylike but who cares?
"I’m doing alright. Spencer’s been calling to check up on me, which is sweet. But my dreams are becoming disturbing and I think they’re telling me Spencer is being hunted right now." I reply with honesty. I couldn’t bear keeping anything secret from them anymore; I didn’t understand how mortals could do it to their parents either.
Odette glanced at me and stroked my brown, straightened hair softly before speaking again. "If you feel Spencer’s in peril, I think you could sense that in your heart. Since we know how you two bonded, we can sense if she’s in danger too if you’re unsure." Odette said seriously, leaning her head on my shoulder.
I adored how affectionate she was and it’s no wonder why Judith has stuck with her for over three hundred years.
We were suddenly interrupted by the unusual entrance of Kyla and Judith, who were chasing each other in their underwear. "You are such a delinquent, Kyla! That is so immature with what you did!" Judith shouted teasingly, hitting Kyla’s head with a throw pillow.

You have made my day.. I hope Spencer will take it well from what Ashley is telling her. Post soon please!!!
Awesome update i love you :P PMSLater Dayz
Wow, now I’m intrigued about what Evana is talking. Good Job
sort of sounds like those two vampires are good maybe not but sounds like it and that’ll be cool if they are and they need spence and ash to help stop the evil doers…lol pms
It really doesn’t seem like Evana and Arial want to kill either of them because if they did, they could have easily done it. Maybe the way Ashley heard the story was wrong because it really seems like they were trying to help. Hopefully Spencer listens to Ashley. Great update, can’t wait for the next one, I really love this story.
