“sure…” I said simply then she took my hand in her own and we went to her second floor of her loft and went out onto the balcony which had the most amazing look of the city “…Ashley this is gorgeous…” I told her not being able to take my eyes away from the view
“you should see it at night…when it’s darkness everywhere except the buildings…I love this city…”
“I can tell…” I told her then I kept watching her
“what?” she asked me
“you’re different…” I told her
“different good or bad?” she asked
“good…really good, I mean, you’re so determined and…happy…the way you smile now…I miss that…” I told her and she smiled at me and I smiled back
“well…you don’t seem all that different…” she told me “…I mean, maybe a little tanner…” she said making me laugh
“oh thanks” I said being sarcastic
“ok…I did miss your smile…a lot actually…” she added and I smiled at her then a weird silence fell “…so um…do you like…well are you seeing anyone?”
“didn’t you already ask me that?”
“probably…” she said and I laughed at her making her feel awkward then she turned to walk back inside “…do you love her?” I blurted out
“what?” she asked turning around
“I know I’ll probably regret asking you that…but…do you love her?” I asked her again
“I um…I thought I did, I mean I really thought I loved her…”
“did? As in past tense?” I asked her confused
“remember after the accident…my dream that I had?” she asked and I nodded “…well, lately ever since I moved here I’ve been having dreams of that again…and they’ve just been getting worse, like why I wake up…and they’re kind of violent…I just…I dunno and I keep missing you more and more because of them, and you’re always there in them right next to me…so I figured…if I loved Blaire I wouldn’t be having these dreams…” she explained
“so…you don’t love her?” I asked her again and she just shook her head ‘no’ then we went back inside
“here let me show you the uh guest room…” she said picking up one of my bags and we went there

great update! the real world and dream world have been coming full circle alot of what happened in the first part of this story is rehappening again except now ashley is more aware of things. though she does end up cheating with spence agaim.pms!!
