Previously
As she enters Tina’s apartment she still looks a little ruffled, Tina jumps up from the sofa.
“Hey baby….” She notices specks of dust on the shoulder of Bette’s jacket. “What happened to you your covered in dust”
“Oh I just got mowed down by a bunch of kids on skateboards…..I have no idea why people feel the need to fucking reproduce”
“I’ll be going then….I need to pick up Alice….bye guys have fun” Dana is out the door and probably in her car before Bette and Tina can even respond.
“Was it something I said” Bette asked.
“What” Tina is distracted trying to digest Bette’s comment.
“Dana she left here like she had a rocket up her ass” Bette flopped onto the sofa and lay down her hands behind her head “I’ve had a day sent to me directly from Lucifer himself….and why are you still over there….your too far away from me” she beckons Tina over.
“Sorry…I still have so much to do…” Tina began fussing over a half packed box.
“Ok…what’s wrong”
Tina trying to sound convincing she offered a half hearted smile “Nothings wrong…I’m fine” .
“Tina I have been here over a minute and I am lying on back and your not on top of me…..somethings wrong” Bette was confused when she arrived Tina was happy and she couldn’t have done anything to cause this sudden mood swing she hadn’t had time too.
“I’m fine….do you want a coffee or maybe a glass of wine” Tina weaved her way through the scattered boxes towards the kitchen without pausing for Bette’s reply.
“What” Bette swung her legs off the sofa and followed Tina into the kitchen, she found her busy doing nothing at the sink, slinking behind her wrapped her arms around Tina’s waist from . “ Your not still mad at me for the phone call earlier”
“I’m not mad at you….I’m fine” Tina wriggled out of the embrace and walked back in to the lounge leaving a dumbfounded Bette behind her.
My ass is fine she thought as she opened the fridge and helped herself to a bottle of water, leaning against the fridge door she spent a few minutes pondering over Tina’s insistence that she was fine which was clearly an euphemism for somethings up my ass and if you keep asking me eventually I will tell you.

Excellent. Truly, truly excellent. Tina was a bit of an ass. She really should have given Bette the chance to say whether or not she wants kids. It’s not like EVERYTHING everyone says actually means something
