    Tina:  Bette I have to tell you that I think I had 2 or 3 contractions tonight… but they were so far apart… but I also think I just had another one in the car…

     

    Bette:  What… why didn’t you tell me… we would have left a long time ago…

     

    Tina:  Bette they were little ones… trust me… if they weren’t… I would have let the whole room know… but now I have to pee… get me up…

     

    Walking back from the bathroom… Tina stops and turns to go back… just as she reaches the bathroom again… she grabs Bette’s and Linda’s hands… they all look down… Tina was standing in a puddle…

     

    Tina:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY…

    Linda:  OMG… Tina your water broke…
     
    Tina:  You think…
     
    Linda:  Quick we have to get her to the hospital…
     
    Bette:  Mom relax… I think we should get some clothes on her…
     
    Tina:  Another good idea… I don’t want to go out in a night gown…
     
    Linda:  What’s the big deal… they will make you take every thing off when you get there…
     
    Bette:  Mom… go and tell dad… and maybe call Lisa and Kit while I help Tina and call the doctor..
     
    Tina:  I bet she is still at the CAC…
     
    Bette:  She probably is… (Calling Dr. Wilson and leaving a message with the answering service) well she will call back… so why don’t we get you dressed…
     
    Tina:  First kiss me…
     
    Bette:  Not a problem… (Taking her into her arms and holding close… their lips meet and soon tongues were dueling)…
     
    Tina:  That was very nice… so now are you ready to become a mommy…
     
    Bette:  Yeah baby I am ready…
     
    Bette helped her into a dress… slipped on a pair of sandals…  then sat Tina on the bed… while she changed into a pair of sweats and a tee shirt… she then grabbed the suitcase that has been waiting for this night and they walked into the kitchen… Frank was waiting with open arms… hugging Tina and then Bette…
     
    Bette:   Where is mom…
     
    Frank:  She went to change… I calmed her down so she should be better now…
     
    Linda:  Ok are we ready…
     
    Tina:  Just waiting for Dr. Wilson to call back…
     
    The phone rings… Tina answers
     
    Yes Dr. Wilson… I’m glad the baby waited till you made your purchase… ok we will meet you at the hospital…
     
    Bette:  Ok lets get going…
     
    Just then a contraction hit… and Tina doubled over… and every swear word came out of her mouth..
     
    Frank:  Oh yeah… she is her mothers daughter…

    9. Tessa, Bette’s little Tee is here and thank goodness all went well. I started off late in the story but went back to the beginnimg. I now have been patiently waiting for each post and get excited when I see one. I hope that another 4 years or longer goes by before this story ever see the end.
