Dana had made the ultimate sacrifice…. willing to risk her own life in order to save Alice. What she didn’t realize…. Alice didn’t have a life worth living if Dana wasn’t in it.
Alice – I’ll do the breathing part since my arm is broke. Give me your hands…
Alice placed Shane’s hands on Dana’s chest, showing her what to do.
Alice – I’ll give her two breaths, then you give her 30 chest compressions. And don’t stop until I tell you to!
And so it started…. both working together as a team. Neither one saying a thing, except for Alice telling Shane to stop so she could check for a pulse.
They were expecting to hear the sirens of an ambulance, instead they heard a helicopter. It landed in the small clearing near the cabin. Moments later the paramedics were there to take over.
Alice and Shane stood back and watched the paramedics at work. Because of Alice and Shane, Dana at least had a chance now. It was a scary sight, seeing Dana with all the wires and tubes coming from her. She was deathly pale and still unconscious. She had lost a great deal of blood. They had worked quickly and now was ready to transport her. Alice being in need of medical attention herself, was allowed to come along. Shane, however would have to drive home.
They were heading home. Alice was thankful to be with Dana. She would’ve gone out of her mind if she was separated from her, especially knowing her fragile state. One of the paramedics put an air splint on Alice’s arm to immobilize it, til a doctor could set it. It hurt like hell and was swollen. They tried to give her something for the pain, but she refused. Taking something would only make her drowsy. There was no way she was going to sleep, knowing Dana could slip away from her at anytime. Alice begged them to let her sit next to Dana and hold her hand. They reluctantly allowed it, but it wouldn’t be long….. Dana’s heart stopped again.
Alice had to move away. She turned away when they used the paddles to revive her. Watching Dana’s body convulse from the shock was the last thing she needed to see. Hearing the monitor start beeping again was a big relief to her. Dana’s condition was worsening by each passing minute. Why was fate so cruel? Why did she have to go after Lara herself? If Dana died, it was her fault. Her need for revenge could very well seal Dana’s fate.

OH MY GOD! Lara is such a sick f*ck! That’s some imagination you have there. I loved how Roxy has impeccable timing- showing up at the perfect time. Ok now please let Dana get to the hospital and at least get somewhat better before you decide to try and kill her again!;) I have to say that I’m do for some good old Danish lovin’ though…Update soon!
i can’t believe Lara could be so twisted. it’s hard for me to imagine her like that on my own but the way you’ve written her character makes it so damn easy. loved this great update. post soon. Ü

Ok, Lara is really psycho!!! Thanks for the warning that it got graphic. I read the whole story….because I was too curious what was going to happen. Thank you for letting Roxy show up at the right moment! I always thought that she would shoot Lara. After this chapter, I’ m ready for the cleaning up part….and some Danish loving (please!). :D
