Alice had escaped her thoughts for the night but now she was paying the price. She had a vile taste in her mouth. It was so dry, she had trouble swallowing. The head was her biggest problem…. shooting pain, pounding like a jackhammer against her skull. Fearing that opening her eyes would only intensify her pain…. she reaches for her alarm clock on her nightstand. Grabbing only air. Slowly opening her eyes, she sees the problem…. not her room.
She was in a very large bedroom……..sleeping in a king-size bed. The room was filled with lots of hardwood furnishings….a very masculine touch. Alice realized she only had on her bra and panties…. where were her clothes? “Alice… what the fuck did you do?” She didn’t notice Tony standing by the window, looking out on the property. Turning around to look at her, he replied back.
Tony – You didn’t do anything you didn’t want to. (smiling)
Alice – Oh God…. how drunk was I?
Tony – You were pretty loose… but you did have a good time.
Alice – Did we… sleep together?
Tony – No, your safe. Trust me, if you did you’d remember. You are a very beautiful woman, Alice. I was tempted, but I was a gentleman.
Alice – Where are my clothes?
Tony – I had them cleaned. You didn’t hold your liquor very well.
Remembering the vile taste….
Alice – I’m so embarrassed.
Tony – Don’t be. I could tell you were hurting.
Alice – I’m really hurting now.
Tony – I know… take these.
He hands her water and two pills. She swallows the pills down, emptying the entire glass of water.
Alice – You seem to know my name, can I know yours?
Tony – It’s Anthony, but my friends call me Tony. You can call me Tony.
Alice – Can I have my clothes, Tony?
Tony – Sure… I’ll have them brought up. I’m sure you’ll want to shower. The bathroom is over there. There’s a robe on the back of the door. I’ll see you downstairs for breakfast.
He gave her directions to the dining room.
Tony – Don’t get lost…. it’s a big house.
Moments later Alice was in the shower. She thought about Tony…. was it a coincidence that the Tony that was in her hallway…. looked similar to this Tony. She shook her head… dismissing the thought, “Don’t be silly…. there are lots of Tonys.”
