Let’s Do It – Episode 103

But first, a brief explanation of the time lapse.

The reason why there is such a gap between the end of Episode 101/102 (before Thanksgiving) and the start of Episode 103 (Mid-February) is that everything winds up being hinged on 2 moments, as well as the timeline’s need to skip over holidays.

Moment 1 is Trish mentioning her midterm, which would place the narrative no earlier than October, 2003.  There is also the fact that Tina has to wait a month before her next ovulation, which occurs near the end of the episode.

Moment 2 happens almost 7 minutes into this episode, when an appointment is made over the phone at Reviva Clinic for “Tuesday the 23rd” meaning this episode could be (for the sake of also skipping Valentine’s Day) no sooner than Monday, February 16th.  This also means that the episode could begin with Alice talking with Marc on Friday The 13th (which invokes luck, possibly bad) about The Chart (also the day before Valentine’s, which may explain Alice’s fascination with The Chart while single).

Going with February 16th as the day Alice arrives at Reviva, that gives enough time for Tina’s eventual miscarriage (5 weeks later), but also means that few if any days are wasted, which means skipping over St. Patrick’s Day will be a bit tough.

Day 1 (Friday, February 13th, 2004)
