PRESS RELEASE
August 18, 2011
After the success of her summer festival appearances, the multi-talented
Heather Peace will set out on a mini-tour this winter.
Heather will perform an intimate stripped back set at The Glee Clubs in
Birmingham (14th November), Nottingham (15th November) and Oxford (16th November). She will then be joined by her full band (Lisa Tring -drums, Sara Farina – bass/ vox and Kelly Appleton – guitar) for her final show of the year at London’s Union Chapel on Monday 28th November.
Says Heather: “This has been an incredible year for me. I’ve gone from
playing to a few mates 18 months ago, to playing to thousands of people
right through the spring and summer.
“I’m looking forward to returning to the intimacy of small audiences for the
Glee Club shows and then I’m incredibly excited about rounding off the year
at the Union Chapel because it’s been a dream for me to play that venue.”
It has become tradition for Heather to offer her opening slot to up and
coming female artists to show her support for other women in the industry.
Following in the footsteps of Lexie Green, Jill Jackson, Amity and Midas
Fall, Jade Hopcroft will open the show at Union Chapel.
A fellow Brightonian, Jade has been gathering attention from industry folk
and music lovers alike with her distinctive vocal style and haunting
harmonies. http://www.facebook.com/jadehopcroft
