Oh hi.. says Shane awkwardly as she stands in front of Alice at the entrance of The Planet.

I knew you would be here, and I know I said I would call you, but what I have to say, I think… no, I know I should say it all to your face… not over the phone.

Okay…umm, actually, I gotta get to work.. But after for sure..

Meet me here later.. whenever you get off, I have to finish this article.. and I told Marina Id help her out around here, so Ill be here most of the day. So Ill see you later then..

Later. Shane turns and leaves.

Alice watches Shane drive away and then walks over to the table.

Good morning everyone. she greets her friends as she sits down.

Bette stands up to leave, Hi Alice, Guys, I better get going. Bye. she says as she gives Tina a kiss.

So, how are you all today? Alice asks Tina and Dana.

Im great, Bette and I, we had an appointment with the doctor yesterday, and she said that so far the baby is perfect. Tina says smiling.

Thats awesome, Im am so happy for you guys! Alice and Dana both hug Tina How about you Dana?

Wow, whats with the sarcasm?

Its just, Lara and I had a little fight… But Im gonna go over and grab something to eat at the club, so I can talk to her.

Ive been better… I know Shane talked to you, so you know about what is going on. replies Alice.

Well I know whats going on with Shane, and I know that she told you how she feels, but I dont know whats going on with you, and what you think of.. everything.

It totally shocked me, I had no idea she felt that way.

The two chatted throughout most of the morning until Tina left and Alice began working on her article, and helped Marina out around The Planet. She waited around the entire day for Shane to show up, and just as she was about to leave, and Marina was to close up, Shane stepped through the door.

Hi Alice, Marina. She greets them as she walks in.

Shane, Ive been waiting here like all day for you.. begins Alice.

I know…. I got off work a few hours ago, then.. I wasnt really sure if I wanted to hear what you have to say, then I changed my mind, and Im here now. Shane explains.

I see that.. So you want to talk?

You guys, I am going to head home, you are welcome to stay her and talk, as long as you lock up. Marina cuts in.

No thats okay, we can go somewhere else…. my place? says Alice.

After leaving The Planet Shane and Alice meet over at Alices.

Yeah… Okay.. Let me get everything out before you say anything. When I first met you, before we became friends, and even before I met you… I had the biggest crush on you, then we became friends and I pushed all of that aside, because I had seen how you treat the women youre with.. just ***** , you just ***** them and thats it, and I knew that I didnt want that… and also because you became my best friend. I figured those feelings just disappeared after I stopped thinking about them and ignored them…. But now I know they didnt, I still have them, I really like you Shane… I always have.

Wow, I really like too. I promise this isnt just a ***** thing…

“I know that, I can tell” interrupts Alice.

“I want more then that, I want more then what we have now.” Shane finishes
