You Told Me You Love Me Part 6
Angel by Sarah McLachlan
Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There’s always one reason
To feel not good enough
And its hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
Ill find some peace tonight
In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
Dana looked out through the window. It was already dark and raining heavily outside, just like what her heart was doing. She looked around her. Empty. She leaned onto the back of her wheel chair staring at particular nothing, feeling so helpless. Everything was in a blur to her. It was as if she was living in her dreams. Not sweet one but in dreams full of hatred and hurt. She hated to see that she was hurting everyone she knew and herself. If she knew this would happen she wouldn’t ask for the second chance. Doctor said that she was healing, but she wanted to yell at them every time they said this. Why the hell were they saying that as she had nothing in progress but a weaker and weaker body each day? With her being weak like this what was there left for Alice to love anymore? She would rather die than to live like this. She would rather die than to hurt her soul mate like this.
Alice leaned onto the window as she looked out at the drizzling street. Her heart was crying along with the rain outside as she didn’t have any tears to shed anymore. She decided to go back to her own apartment after the argument this morning. She didn’t think she could bear another angry outburst from Dana. She thought she had more than enough. Ever since she stepped on the ground of LA she had been falling completely into a caretaker mode. Not that she was complaining but Dana just didn’t seem to appreciate that. Although she understand what Dana went through and wanted nothing but to stay beside her, but to hear the words that were directed right into her face was too hard to bear. It was either Dana yelling at her to just go away or she just lay there motionless not talking to anyone. It hurt. It hurt like a millionth knives stabbed onto her heart. Maybe Dana didn’t want her to be there in the first place. It was like she was the burden to the brunette and she was the one who caused all the angry outburst. Everything she said was wrong. Everything she did was also wrong. What else to do? It was either staying here or just packed to leave for London. Which one to choose? And was there even a reason for her to stay?

Another great chapter, uhhuh! Sounds like the girls are definitely hitting a low point. Hopefully they only go up from here. Alice getting a little break from caretaking may help give her clarity and strength to go back to Dana. I look forward to what happens next. Thanks!!
There are no way Alice can leave Dana again, She is the reason Dana is fighting for her life. Give them a break and let Dana we okay again….
