You Told Me You Love Me Part 12

Then something that sat on the coffee table caught her attention. She leaned forward to grab the small box and opened it slowly to reveal two beautiful rings. She took one of them out and lay it on her palm admiring it. It was so beautiful. If Alice was to wear it, it would look even more beautiful on her finger. She smiled. Although four years apart she could still recall how the blonde looked like, the smell of her hair, her eyes, her complexion and her smile, though it was a very rare case at that time. The truth was she thought about her throughout the four years. She wanted to call but she was too chicken out to do so after she thought about how awkward it could be as she had no idea what the blonde thought about her. But somehow there were some questions she wanted to know. How is she now? Is she happy with her life? What happens to her in four years? Is she still single? Will she accepts me even when I cannot recall our past? The last two questions were definitely the one she dreaded. She didn’t know why but she liked the blonde very much not that she knew about her that much but she really felt something towards her. She couldn’t help but to recall those lonely nights alone how she thought about the blonde and how she wanted the blonde to near by until it led to some unfriendly thoughts where she usually head to have a cold shower.

Dana chuckled and shook her head. Ok enough for now I need fresh air, she thought. She stood up and stretched her muscles then walked towards the side table to grab her purse and the keys of the car she rented yesterday. She headed out immediately. She had no idea where to go but she needed to get out from the house and think.

Dana sighed as she stopped her car waiting for the lights to turn green. She put her head onto the steering. Her head hurt a little bit since she hadn’t sleep well for few nights. She moved her head up and looked out through the window. The area was so beautiful covered with trees and flowers. She couldn’t help but to ask herself. Why do I have to forget all the good things that ever happened to me here? She sighed again and almost jumped from her seat when she heard someone tapping onto her window. She looked to the side and found an old lady probably in her seventies smiling down at her. Her left arm was bandaged and she had a somewhat looked like Chinese take away on the other hand. Dana quickly rolled down the window and asked what happened.

    1. Lucy is a very wise woman and I’m glad what she said got through to our Dana. Go get your woman!! This was a great update. Can’t wait for the next one

    2. So happy to see an update on this story! It’s great that Dana is trying so hard to get those memories back. And she still feels that longing and closeness to Alice on such a basic level. Fate certainly put Lucy in Dana’s path. I hope the next stop on that path is to see Alice. Can’t wait for their reunion. Thank you very much, uhhuh!!

    3. way to go uhhuh…excellent updates..you’re right, if dana can’t remember anything abt. how her life was in L.A., then the only thing she could do is build a new life w/ her friends especially w/ alice..thank you..PPS… (sorry for the typo errors, kinda already late in my side of the earth)
