Lynn hadn’t seen Tina since Bette had called earlier. And when they all came in she was in the basement getting potato’s. for the next day. They went in and took there showers. It was late.
Tina thinks Bette has already left Because that morning they talked Bette had gave her the times she was to leave and what time she would arrive. and hadn’t got Bette’s message from her Mom..
Bette has let her Mothers and is setting with her bags packed and presents boxed ready to go to the air port just as soon as the captain calls. Not hearing from Tina yet she decides to call back herself.
Oh Hello Bette, Lynn says answer the phone. Tina had just walked in the kitchen hearing her Babies name, Looks at her watch think she must be coming from the air port and might need a ride.
Yea she right here. No sorry this is the first time I have seen her since you called earlier. Tina heart sinks the word, “earlier “ stuck in her throat. knowing some thing was wrong now. Lynn hands her the phone .
No, I’ll take it in the other room, Lynn could see the disappointment on Tina’s face already.
Tina leaves and Jeffrey looks at his Mom.
What’s going on?
Bette can’t get here for the snow, she had already called once.
Oh man Tina is going crazy, She could keep her mind on any thing she was doing out there. She was all scatter brained. She gave the chickens oats!
Lynn giggles
Ok, Mom I got it! …Tina hollers from the other room. So Lynn hangs up.
Babe where are you?
Bette is silent hearing Tina’s shaky voice, not wanting to disappoint her. I’m still at home.
What! It better not be because of work cause if it is Elisabeth Porter…

Kennard temper you ant seen the Kennard temper yet but if you don’t get your butt here and I mean soon. Your gonna.!..Click……. Bette pulls the phone from her ear .. she just hung up on me!
Lynn hears the last part cause Tina was loud. Did you just hang up on her? in a scolding manner

Yeah Tina may owe Bette an up close and personal apology when she gets there. I love Lynn and her attitude, maybe she can give Bette some advice about how to deal with that Kennard Temper because she has had plenty of pratice. PPS:o).
