    Wreckless Love, Post 11

     

    The elevator lurched and the lights came on at a quarter of their usual strength, the switch to auxiliary power now in effect.  

     

    “Should we signal for help?”  Tina poised to press the alarm button.

     

    “No, not yet.”

     

    Something in her tone caught Tina’s attention.  She could almost feel Bette’s sudden awareness of the moment.  She felt it. Even in the dim light she saw the final struggle play across the brunette’s face.  There was no place to run they were alone.  There would be no more hiding anything.

     

    “Maybe you should sit down.”  Tina encouraged sliding down against the wall.  “We might be here awhile.”

     

    Bette glanced at Tina and sat down.  “Afraid” she scoffed looking at Tina “I am not afraid.”

     

    “Yes you are.” Tina met her gaze.

     

    “What?”

     

    “Nothing” Tina sipped her coffee and waited.

     

    “I just don’t want to hurt Jodi.”  The brunette stated weakly.  She did not want to hurt anyone. 

     

    “Neither do I” Tina affirmed not liking the role of the other woman in this regard. “Still staying with her when you are in love with someone else is hurtful too.  Unless you plan to never be alone with me again you are going to keep making love with me.  How long do you think she’s not going to notice that you are not into her anymore?”  Tina held her breath, Bette’s confession last night that she was unable to be sexual with Jodi since they had been together had pleased her more than she could admit. 

     

    “She already knows something is wrong” Bette sighed, thinking of the hurt and confusion she saw in the blue eyes earlier this afternoon.  She couldn’t even kiss her. 

     

    “So, since we are here for therapy why don’t we use the time productively and talk.  I’ll pretend to be Dan.”  Tina stretched out her legs and kicked off her shoes in imitation of Dan.  “What are you afraid of?”

     

    “I’m afraid that we are caught up in this incredible sexual energy and that once Tina wakes up she will no longer want me, like the last time.  She has grown so much I no longer feel like I have anything to offer her.”

    6. As usaul I was 3 chapters behind but hey I am here now. Loved how open Bette and Tina are throughout this process. Maybe this time they can really get to the core of their issues and head down the right pathway.

    7. Kelika, thiis chapter just blows me away. You are getting to the heart of the matter with these two. Your line …love or mind bending bone melting sex…Tina seeking that touch that made her crazy… Just totally awesome. Tina is not the only one being made crazy by your words. The feelings you evoke in your readers is unbelievable. Keep writing and we shall most certainly keep reading. We are very grateful that you are so moved by this season. As are we all. PPS

    9. They really do need to talk, but they have so much desire for each other that they can’t seem to get past their lust. You could lock them in a room until they get all that sexual energy out of them and then they could talk? Come on Kelika…..write them in a room with no interruptions and your NC17 imagination. LOL! That would be sexy as hell…..PS.
