Tears ran down marks face he took his foot away from the door and turned leaving the building.

“You’re a prick!” Carmen snapped following Mark
“Mark wait up” Carmen said running after him
Mark stopped and faced her
“Look let us take you home, get some sleep sober up and well come see you tomorrow” Carmen suggested
“Okay”
“He’s a prick you’re better off without him” Carmen said pulling him into a hug
Andrew came out the building
“Mate you don’t deserve that, you’re well out his league”
“Come on let’s get you home” Carmen sighed
“Sorry for keeping Jess out late last night” Mark said
“Don’t be silly your one of our best friends if you need us we are there” Carmen smiled

Carmen and Andrew dropped Mark home, Carmen made sure he got in and fixed him some coffee.

“I want to stop by the studio just so they know what just happened”
“Confidentiality Carmen?” Andrew stated
“Dude they need to know what’s going on with him, I’ll take the wrap if we get caught” Carmen said

They pulled up to the studio and got out the car walking into the studio.

Kelly noticed them and came out her office.

“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing just in to see Jess and guys”
“Is everything okay?” Kelly asked
“Everything’s fine Kel don’t worry” Carmen laughed
“Two police officers in uniform come into my studio, I’m allowed to worry” Kelly smiled “They’re in their room”
Andrew followed Carmen looking around all the walls as he walked
“I’ve never been in a studio before, wow Jess looks so young here” Andrew said referring to a newspaper clipping on the wall
“That was their first single and Jess was like 16” Carmen smiled “We’d just got together”
“Carmen don’t take this the wrong way but didn’t she have like a lot of attention in school?”
“Not really Jess kept a low profile she was a music nerd”
“She was fit” Andrew said
Carmen looked at him “Excuse me?”
“What you know she’s hot so shut up”
“I don’t want my partner and roommate fantasising about my fiancée thanks”
Andrew laughed “Chill out and walk”

They knocked on the door before entering

“Hey guys” Andrew smiled
“Please tell me this is a friendly visit and nothing is wrong” Jess panic’d
“I would love too but unfortunately that’s not the case, we just got called to a disturbance at Kyles”
“What the fuck did he do” Lee said closing his eyes
“He was drunk and upset and just wanted answers” Andrew said
“And he got them” Carmen sighed “Kyle was fucking horrid practically told mark he was a worthless piece of shit who was only good for his money”
“He what?” Jace snapped “I’m going to punch his teeth out”
“No no, I think you will find you’re not” Carmen stated “I’ve took mark home put him to bed and told him to sober up, I just wanted you guys to know”
“Carmen told Kyle he was a prick” Andrew laughed “I nearly chocked her professionalism is spot on”
“He’s my friend” Carmen defended herself
“I’d have called him more than that” Jess snapped “No offence but I hated him anyway, Marks better off without him”
“We won’t let him hold him down though” Lee stated “Mark will bounce back”
“Ok cool right we need to get back, only 3 hours left” Andrew smiled
Jess stood up giving Carmen a kiss “See you when you get home, love you”
“Love you too” Carmen smiled
