“Thank you” Shay sighed with relief
“We have a condition” Tina said
“Anything” Shay agreed
“If any of this hit’s the press, you refuse to comment”
“Done” Shay agreed straight away
“Sign this!” Jess said passing it
“What is it?”
“A contract which states if you disclose any details and I mean any, your dropped and you pay back every penny I’ve invested in you” Kelly stated
Shay signed the contract straight away
“8am sharp tomorrow morning, be here and ready to work, I want this done smoothly and quickly”
“And another thing” Jess said “Whatever you shared with Carmen is nothing at all to what me and Carmen share. So quit pretending you know what happened between us because frankly you don’t have a clue”
“Look Jess I’m going to say this because to be honest nothing else could possibly blow up on my face, Yes me and Carmen had sex, once twice I don’t even know how many times, but I always had to share her with you, I wish to god I didn’t because I’d be a damn site better for her than you are, every time…”
“Excuse me?” Tina snapped looking straight at Shay
“Leave right now Shay before you don’t have a career” Kelly warned
“I’m not taking all this shit, I didn’t know who she was, I didn’t know anything when I got involved with Carmen all I knew was her ex broke her heart, I didn’t even know she was a fucking lesbian till 2nd year of university when she got her act together, so you can all back off me. Where were you all when she was so drunk she couldn’t get home, or not eating? None of you were there to support her, NONE OF YOU! Your right Jess I don’t know anything about you or what happened and to be honest I don’t give a flying fuck, I just want to do well in an industry at something I’m good at. I’m not this monster your painting me out to be”
With that Shay got up and left the room slamming the door.
Jess threw her pen and the contract across the table.
“Breath please… thank you” Tina rubbed her daughters back
“Okay so this video” louise said “What’s the plan?”
“It’s all sketched up, I’ve spoken to someone who’s going to play the bad one in the video” Tina said
“Who?” Jess asked
“Jace said he’d do it” Kelly replied
“Is that a good idea? You know as well as I do if Shay pisses Jess off, Jace will punch him” Louise looked concerned
“That’s the plan, things should run smoothly, I also want my daughter to have support on a set”
“She will we will all be there” Kelly stated
“Absolutely” Louise agreed
“Look everything will be fine it’s a video, Can I go now?” Jess said getting up “Lisa is outside waiting on me”
“Yes, I’ll see you at home” Tina got up hugging Jess “Love you”
“Love you too mum” Jess said hugging Tina a little tighter
She quickly hugged Louise and Kelly before leaving.
