Bette and Tina both laugh.  “No luckily for Angie her Auntie Kit was there to catch her.”

Turning back around to Tina and Bette as the rest of the gang finished hugging the two.  “Tina, where did you find her?  Bette, where have you been?”

Bette just smiled, “it’s a long story so Kit could you get us some pancakes and coffee and we will tell you all about it.”

Kit took Angie with her to get the pancakes and sent a server over with their coffees.  Tina had told Kit what they wanted for breakfast when she had called earlier to save time.  Kit had everything ready.

As the gang settled back around the table, Bette and Tina began to fill them in on all that had happened to them.  They left out the part of Jodi raping Bette and being behind the kidnapping.  They just explained about the accident as if it happened in route to visiting the new artist.  Surprisingly, Alice was quiet and just listened.  When they discussed it later they would attribute this to her being in shock.  Bette and Tina followed through with the plans for a family barbeque.  Everyone planned to come over later that afternoon for some good old family fun.  After lots of hugs, Bette, Tina and Angie left to go pickup supplies for tonight. 

By the time they got home it was time for Angie’s nap.  She insisted that her Momma B lay down with her and sing her a song.  Tina began the prep work on the food for the night as she listened to Bette singing to Angie through the monitor.  By the time Bette got Angie to sleep, Tina had most of the sides made and that only left the meat marinating for Bette to do.  They continued to work together in the kitchen as Tina fed Bette samples of the vegetables and then decide to fix them a salad for lunch.  Once the prep work was over, they decided to take some tea out by the pool and sit in the lounge chairs.  Bette sat down first and drew Tina down between her legs. 

“This is so nice T.  I love having you in my arms and enjoying the beautiful garden you have made for us.” 

“Yes, this is so nice babe.  There is no place I would rather be right now.  I think going to the planet today was a good idea.  Did you see the look on Alice’s face?”  Tina laughed.

“Yea, I think she thought she was seeing a ghost and thank god Kit was standing right beside her or she would have dropped Angie on her head.”

“I don’t think Angie has forgiven Alice yet either.  Did you see the looks she gave her during breakfast?  She had to sit in Shane’s lap and I don’t think she let Alice kiss her goodbye either.”

“Yea, I think Alice has some serious makeup work to do with Angie.”  With that they both relaxed and enjoyed their time together.  As the sun warmed their bodies, they drifted off into a light sleep, just content to be together again.
