L.A.X.

Marina and Francesca are off on another vacation, having taken care of business in Hollywood.  At The Planet, it is another day of work for Kit with Billie becoming more acclimated with the daytime cafe operations.  Lara is still there, serving as Chef.  Billie is ready for some menu changes, along with other suggestions.

Shane, Carmen, and Mark’s apartment.

Shane and Carmen have just returned from a place called Wax where Shane is to be brought in to do hair.

Mark ”Cool, I’ll have to check it out some time.”

Shane ”Yeah, I think you’ll like it.  Heard anything from Bloom?”

Mark ”Um…yeah, one of her people called earlier.  Everything looks good.”

Mark grins.

Carmen ”So what are they gonna do with it?”

Mark ”Trying out this new thing where it runs in independent cinemas while also being available for pay-per-view and D.V.D. release.  All at once, just to see how it goes.  They’re not looking to go crazy with it.  I think Veronica’s statement was…something about wanting to surprise the masses.”

Shane ”Sounds like her.”

Mark ”Well anyway, I’m off.”

Carmen ”Where are you headed?  Gonna go get Lola for dinner tonight?”

Mark ”Nah, she’s busy.  I’m about to focus everything on promoting the doc, so we’re just taking a breather.”

Carmen and Shane look at one another.

Shane ”A breather, huh?  Well, good luck with that.”

Mark ”Don’t worry, if I’m not back in time, I’ll meet you all for dinner tonight.”

Alice’s apartment.

She has returned from a day that has involved the discussion of the interconnectivity of, ”one psychotropic drug after another,” on her radio show.  Helena is busy taking in the studio she has purchased and introducing Tina as one of her new hires.  She is not looking to bother the other friends.  There is a knock on the door and Alice opens it, letting him in.

Mark ”I was hoping I was at the right place.”

Alice ”You are.  Come on in.”

Mark enters, walking down the hallway and into the living room.  He sees Alice’s Chart white board.

Mark ”What’s all this?”

Alice ”It’s uhh…Chart.  It’s my Chart.  It’s all…interconnectivity and…stuff.  I think I told you about it in the interviews.”

Mark ”Just so different to see it like this.  You have the database on your computer, right?”
