At the Planet:
“Alright, what can we do guys? We have to do something.” said Jenny to Alice, Dana, Shane, and Marina.
“Well, we can get Tina to sleep with Candace, and then they will be even…” said Shane with a snicker.
Alice punched her in the arm……
“Damn….I was joking…***** that hurt.” said Shane as she rubbed her arm….
“You can’t joke at a time like this, Shane…” said Alice..
“Yea, Shane, come on….” said Dana….
“Look, why don’t we have a raffel here? Like a vacation raffle? I’ve got a few hundred dollars to start it out….if you guys can pitch in, we can buy an all expense paid vacation to Hawaii…” started Marina…
“Yea, that sounds great.” said Jenny…
“We can have Kit sing…” said Dana
“And we can make it like someone will win the raffle…..the two people who get chosen, have to spend the entire week in Hawaii together. Only thing is, Bette and Tina will win….If one chooses to opt out, then that person has to pay for the vacation for someone else….” said Alice.
“Tina doesn’t have the money to pay for the vacation, and Bette wouldn’t opt out, because she wants to make this up to Tina…..” said Shane….
“Girls, we are so ***** good………………….When do you want to have it?”
“Well, Tina went out of town for a few days to think about things…..when she comes back, she is supposed to let Bette know whether she wants a divorce or not…” said Jenny…
“DIVORCE????” everyone yelled at the same time….
“How do you know that?” asked Alice
“I saw Bette when I was outside the house, and I talked with her for a few minutes.”
“Okay,” said Alice….”I’m sure that Tina took her cell, so I will call her and have her come back….tell her that I am doing a story on fund-raisers for the kids in this city, and I need to talk to her about it. Shane, you get in touch with everyone at Milk, everyone at the CAC, everyone at T’s Job, and anyone else you can…*****, tell everyone on the street…..to be here for a vacation give-away…don’t tell them that Bette and Tina will win inevitably, that way word doesn’t get back to them….”
“Marina, you and Jenny get in touch with a travel agent…Book a plane for 2 to Hawaii, and book the best suite in the best hotel….with all the extras….”
“Done.” said Marina.
“Al, what do you need me to do?” asked Dana…
“Just sit there and look pretty, babe….” said Alice smiling.
“Okay.” said Dana.
Everyone split up and went seperate ways……………..they had work to do………..they had to get Bette and Tina back together.

Bette got out of the pool, and went inside to shower and settle down…..She sat on the couch, and clutching a pillow, she tried to find something worth watching on t.v…..
Nothing was there that didn’t remind her of Tina………she just decided to go to bed……..She laid there in a restless slumber for hours………..thinking about everything…..trying to figure a way to get Tina back.
The next morning, there was a knock on her door……..
Bette moved slowly to it, and opened it slightly…….
“Al…Hey….come on in…” said Bette as she backed away from the door….
“Bette, I know that this is awkward, but we are having a raffle to give away tickets for a all expense paid vacation to Hawaii Tommorrow night at ‘The Planet’ and I expect to see you there…You can’t mope forever…”
“I don’t know if I am up to being around alot of people…..” said Bette
“Nonsense, I don’t want to hear that bullshit….Be ready at 6….I will pick you up…” said Alice as she walked towards the door…
“Wait……………………Al???” But, Alice was already out the door and gone…..
‘*****’ thought Bette, ‘I cannot make myself presentable around all of those people without Tina by my side….They probably all know what I did, and I will never live it down with them, just as I won’t be able to get past it with Tina.. *****………….It sucks to be me…..’ Bette plopped down on the sofa and laid back…before she knew it, she was sleeping again…..
