Chapter 1

 After the death of her mother Carmen and her brother Juan were brought up by her dear papi. Mr. Morales the owner of the MM entertainment, it the double M stands for Mercedes Morales, Carmen’s mom. Carmen’s father is a lover of music although nothing of a singer, but he’s is the boss of the great MM entertainment. Carmen was always the crazy, hot mexican girl for whom music was everything! Mr. Morales came to know about Carmen’s sexuality after figuring out that she went to prom with Eva Torres and after the initial shock accepted her! He couldn’t just throw his beloved daughter out in the streets just for her lifestyle! Knowing that Juan was not much of a music person, Mr. Morales sent his son to business school so he can look after the huge business after Mr. Morales retires! But fate took a wrong turn and Juan and his wife Anna were killed in a car crash…leaving behind little Marco and Rosita. Carmen’s abuela also lives with them to take care of the children. 

    Today is exactly one year after the accident of Juan and Anna. Carmen has her own apartment in West Hollywood but she comes and stays in the family home with the kids, abuela and her papi!

  Carmen works for the MM entertainment but she still DJs, its just her passion! She mostly works from home, its just about listening to different artists and bands choosing whom to work with, which can be done in her little studio in her apartment. She comes to the main office sometimes to help out her papi….today Mr. Morales called Carmen to the office to discuss something really important. 

 Carmen stops at the parking lot, still thinking what can be so important that her dad couldn’t tell her over the phone! She parks her car beside a blue benz. The color of the car is mind blowing. Even though Carmen is not really into cars she can tell that its a really expensive model. 

 -"Awesome car isn’t it Ms. Morales"- comes a voice from behind her. 

 Carmen turns around to see the owner of the voice is a tall girl all suited booted, messy black hair with green eyes. 

 Carmen:"And you are?"

 -"Who do I look like?" comes the answer!

 ’Suave’ Carmen thinks to herself!

 Carmen:"I am guessing, an admirer of the car"

 -"You got that right and also the owner of the car"- 

 -"By the way I am McCutcheon, you can call me Shane"-

 Carmen:"I am Carmen Morales"

 Shane:"I know"

 Carmen raises her eyebrow questioning…

 Shane:"Well who doesn’t know the hot DJ who spins at the Planet and also the daughter of business tycoon, the owner of MM entertainment!" 

 Carmen:"I have never seen you around Shane"

 Shane:"That’s ’cause I moved here just a month ago and I joined work here right today"

 Carmen:"Oh…well I gotta go Papi is waiting for me."

 Shane smiles her million dollar smile. Its a crooked grin. Something about Shane tells Carmen that she’s a dare devil. Sexy as hell. 

 Shane:"See ya around. Bye"

 With that, Carmen turns around to enter the huge MM entertainment building. 

 She knocks on her Papi’s door. 

 Carmen:"Papi…you called for me?"

 Mr. Morales:"Yes mija! I have something really important to discuss with you. Come on sit down here!"

 Carmen:"What is it?"

 Mr. Morales:"You know when Juan was alive, I thought that he’s gonna look after the company and you two were going to get half of the profit from the company every year. But now that Juan has passed away, and the company has grown so big. I have decided that it is getting really hard to manage the company like this. This is why I am hiring a co-owner for our MM entertainment. She’s only going to own a small part of the company, but the rest is still yours. I am putting you in charge for this after I pass away."

 Carmen:"Papi please don’t say it like that" she’s almost on the verge of tears due to mixed emotions. 

 Mr. Morales:"I have been hunting for the perfect co-owner and I think today I have found one! She’s a professional and very confident and reliable just what I need." 

 Carmen’s curiosity is burning inside her. She can’t be it right?

 Carmen:"Her?"

 Mr. Morales:"Yeah" Mr. Morales laughs at Carmen’s reaction!

 Mr. Morales:"Her name is Shane McCutcheon"

 Carmen:"SHANE!!"
