When New and Old Collide: Chapter 24
Previously:
Beth: “Can I go to your house mommy?”
Tina: “Baby you’re going to go with Bette for a little while after breakfast.” She says to Beth as she looks at the rejected look on Bette‘s face.
Beth: “I know I was asking her mommy.”
Bette: “Oh, of course honey we can go wherever you want but I am staying at a hotel right now until I find a house.”
Tina: “I think that we are going to have to work out a mom, mommy, momma thing or this is going t o be confusing.”
Jaime: “Yeah because that will make everything clear.” she says sarcastically.
Bette: (standing up and picking Bethy up) “I think that is my cue to go so that I do not say something I will regret. Tina I will drop Beth off at 6pm before my date, say bye to mommy Bethy.”
Beth: “Bye mommy. See you later.”
She walks towards the front door not looking back to see the pissed off look on Tina‘s face that was directed straight at her.
Jaime: “Well that was mature.”
Tina: “Actually it was. What you did today was extremely childish. I thought that you understood the situation?”
Jaime: “I don’t think I can do this.”
Tina: “What are you saying?”

Jaime: “This.” she says motioning between the two of them. “I can’t keep waiting around for you to tell me that you are leaving me for Bette Porter. I love you and I know somewhere in your heart you love me too, but it is just not enough anymore. I want to be with you, I want you to be my wife, I want us to start our lives together and I want us to be a family. In other words I want something you cannot give to me.”
Tina: “Why is everything up to you? Shouldn’t I have a say in this? I thought that this was my life. I want to be with you too, but again I do not know why you are in such a rush for us to start our lives together.”
Jaime: “Are you ***** kidding me? A rushYou call two and a half years a ***** rush? Tina I am trying to understand where you are coming from but I just can’t wrap my head around what it is that you want.”

they definately need to talk, if they won’t they will keep assuming things and it’s not good for their relationship, whatever it would be

Tina gets dumped and is now ready for Bette. At least Jamie had the courage to break up. I don’t think Tina would have made that move first. I’ve had male friends tell me they rarely break up with one girlfriend without having the next one lined up. Is Tina taking on this trait?

Yep I agree to everybody they NEED TO TALK but I think Bette need to talk to Tina but I don’t blame Bette she think Tina still solid realtionship with Jamie but she don’t know that they break up. Hey this getting interesting Pls continue and Thanks for posted!!

Where’s the strength she was able to find whilst with Jaime? Tina better act fast b/c we all know she’s the more level headed of the two…but if they’re both playing stubborn well let’s just say,”Lord have mercy on them and little Bethy!”
ohh it breaks my poor heart..Tina dosent know what to do and so does Bette..and that “date” will be a problem..they need to talk and be honest to each other cuz is clear like water they love each other and they are hurt with that situation..please post soon im totally addicted to your story..thanks :o)

Tina: (to the door) “Goodnight Bette have a nice date. I miss you.” she says sobbing and walking back to her bedroom.
Tina! (as the old blues song says) ‘Serves her right to suffer’

Tina: (Sobbing): I can’t believe this is happening.
I think Tina and Jaine have at least one more ‘in-the-middle love-making scene in them before Tina realizes she is not BP and cuts her entirely off. Goodbye sex is sometimes the best! Ha!
Also, BP should have at least a casual make-out scene with Nora. For comparison sake only, of course, and to tide her over until Tina totally gets Jaime out of her system.

i am glad that jamie is gone, the road to them getting back togther should not be simple. they need to talk though and take things slow.
My tibette heart is having a ruff night… truly enjoying even though I want to reach out and shake the shit out of Bette and Tina in order for them to open theire eyes and see what’s in front of them. Thanks a bunch for posting.
