When New and Old Collide: Chapter 22
Previously:
Tina: “Hello?”
Bette: “Hello Tina, I was just calling to make sure everything was alright with you and Beth. Alice told me that Jaime found out that you and I went to the park with Bethy today.”
Tina: “Oh, yeah she was here when you left. We had a little talk and she knows that you are only here to be in Beth‘s life and that she has nothing to worry about. Jaime knows that she and I are solid. I think that is the best for everybody.”
Bette: “Oh, ok. Well I guess I will let you go. Have a great night Tina.”
Tina: “You too Bette. Thanks for calling.”
Tina hung up the phone and walked out by the pool. Why was it that she had her resolve before talking to Bette, but now it felt as though she was back at step one. It was so sweet of Bette to call and make sure that she was alright another sign of the new Bette. While Tina was starting another inner battle, Jaime was lying on the couch with Beth in her arms feeling as if she had won the war having heard Tina‘s end of the conversation with Bette. I wonder if Jaime would feel so confident if she was in Tina‘s head at this moment.

Tina walked in the house and put the phone down on the receiver. She was walking into the living room to wake Jaime up, but she was not on the couch anymore. Tina went in search of her, only to find her sitting on the front porch. Tina went back in the living room and made sure that Beth was still asleep and that she was not going to fall off of the couch, then she walked outside to talk to Jaime.
Tina: “Hey, what are you doing out here all by yourself” she asks while taking a seat next to Jaime and patting her on the back.
Jaime: “Just thinking about everything that has been going on in this past week.”
Tina: “I know it has been some weekhuh?”
Jaime: “You’re telling me, longest of my life I think.” she says happy that Tina is being more like the Tina she has known for the last two and a half years.

Jaime didn’t deserve to get a ‘love’ scene after the nutty way she has been acting.

Tina better wake up and realize she can’t live without Bette, and that by keeping her at arms length (well, sometimes lips length) she’s going to push Bette away. I’m sure if someone were to show up with Bette, or show an interest in Bette, Tina would wake up fast. Let’s just hope she comes to her senses pronto!
thank God you feel that way..my TiBette heart can take read Tina or Bette with somebody else in love scenes..lol..anyway…kit said everything Bette need to talk to Tina and ask her some atitude cuz playing double is not right..please let them talk and find their way back together soon..cant wait for next chapter post soon thanks :o)
