“Hey.” Alice said shyly
“Alice.” Dana breathed softly
“Can I, um…can I come in?” Alice said, looking at anything but Dana
“Yeah, sure.” Dana said, still in shock
“Thanks.” Alice gave Dana a smile as she walked into the condo, making Dana’s heart melt
“Do you want some wine?” Dana asked as Alice sat on the couch
“Sure.”
Dana went into the kitchen and went to get a cup out of the cabinet. She pulled the glass out and set it on the counter. Bracing her hands on the edge of the counter, Dana closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The night continued to become crazier with every moment, and the athlete was having a hard time digesting it all.
Dana felt arms snake around her waist and hot breath hit the back of her neck. Dana relaxed into the embrace that she had longed for since the night she made the mistake of breaking up with Alice. Tears stung Dana eyes as she turned around in Alice’s arms.
“I heard about Lara. I’m so sorry Dane.” Alice whispered
“I’m ok.” Dana lied
“Dane.” Alice said simply, pulling the woman into an embrace
Dana hugged her best friend back with all her might, wishing that this day was just a nightmare. “Where’s Helena?” Dana asked
“We, umm…we went our separate ways.” Alice said. “I don’t know if it’s really breaking up since we were only really together for like a day, but whatever it was, it’s over. She left me.”
“Why?”
“The same reason Lara left you.” Alice said, pulling back to look into Dana’s eyes
Dana held her breath as she and Alice stared each other down. Alice glanced down at Dana’s lips, and that’s all it took for Dana to know that Alice still wanted her.
Dana leaned in and placed a tentative kiss on Alice’s lips. Alice kissed back slowly and softly, relishing in the fact that she was kissing Dana again, the love of her life.
The kiss quickly got heated, and Alice moaned as Dana slammed her into the fridge, grabbing her ass to pull their bodies closer.
Helena made a quick sweep of the bar, looking to see if there was anyone worth pursuing. When no one caught her eye, she sighed and sat at the bar.

Danish definitely trumps helacious. The Gabby factor was an interesting twist. I hope Alice and Dana can stick together…

Hey dude, well to be honest I really didn’t think I’d enjoy Alice & Dana together in this (even though I’m a diehard Danish fan) simply because it seemed like Helena was given the brush off a little to harshly. So if you can make Helena really happy then it’ll all be fine… although I still really did like the Danish. Keep up the good work. And gabby? wtf?
Gabby Deveaux? OMFG!! In the words of Helena, “Bloody Hell!” I smell DRAMAAAAAAAAAAAA. I cant wait to see where this is going to go. It’s 1 thing for Al / Dana to still be carrying a torch for each other. But there’s going to be some real POOPY-SH*T if Alice EVER hears about Helena’s encounter with Gabby. Me being the person that loves a story containing DRAMA hopes Alice sees G / H together somewhere with Gabby pressing Helena against a wall with her body…..you know how Gabby does it!! *_*
BTW……..this was a kickass chapter…….Loved it Loved it Loved it!! Post again sQQn!
I love your story and I will keep following it. But I must say I’m “really” disappointed that Alice & Helena have gone separate ways! I thought they could be really good together. I wasy hoping for this to be a A&H story! Anyways, love your writing.
Me and a few of my friends are only reading one more chapter if this doesn’t become a Alice and Helena story!!! Don’t make it Danish!!!!!!!
That was an unexpected twist. It so sad how a person can betrays her own emotion by getting involved with someone else instead of confronting it.
Loved every word of it!! I’m with bojangles, as long as Helena is happy… :D One thing though, how could Alice grabb Dana’s ass as she was being handcuffed to the bed at the same time…(Sorry, I couldn’t resist to ask this question. :P) Bring on the dyke drama! We’ll see if there are more unexpected twists to this story. It doesn’t matter what the final outcome of this story is, I will love it anyway. :D

Wow…I have to admit that I was thrown by the sea of brunette hair–I was so afraid it was Bette, but that wouldn’t have make sense! Gabby crawled out of the woodwork, hmm…but can she make Helena happy? I have to see where you’re taking this! I d believe Helena and Alice could make it, but there’s this unresolved stuff with her and Dana. But Alice didn’t look at Dana with her “I love you.” Hmm… Awesome storyline!
