3 MONTHS LATER

“Alice!” Helena yelled from the bed

“What!” Alice complained as she came out of the bathroom

Helena smiled. “Nothing. I just wanted to see you walk out of the bathroom naked.”

Alice rolled her eyes. “You suck. That’s the third time you’ve done that. And me, being as great as I am, keep running out to make sure everything is really ok.”

“I’m sorry. It won’t happen again.” Helena nodded convincingly             

Alice smirked as she got a mischievous glint in her eye. “If it’s ok with you, I’m going to go and hop in the shower now. The big shower with more than enough room for one person.” She said pointedly

Helena got out of bed and stretched. “Hmm…you know, I think that I need a shower too.”

Alice waited for Helena to walk the short distance to the bathroom and then grabbed the brunette by the waist. Kissing Helena softly, Alice smiled as she pulled away, eyes still closed. “Yeah, you really do. You kind of stink.”

Helena smacked Alice’s arm playfully and gave her a quick peck on the lips. “Last one in is a rotten egg!” Helena giggled and ran to the shower

“Helena, no over five years old says that!” Alice laughed as she ran into the shower and smacked Helena’s ass

“Has anyone heard from Al lately?” Shane asked as the group all sat around their usual table at The Planet

“No, and I haven’t seen Helena lately either.” Tina said. “She hasn’t been at work the past few days.”

“Huh. Odd.” Bette said and sipped her latte

“We should call one of them and see if they’re ok.” Carmen suggested

“I bet they are still in bed fucking.” Jenny smirked. “Remember when Alice and Dana got together? They didn’t show up for 5 days because they were fucking the whole time.”

“Hey!” Dana protested, a deep blush quickly spreading over her cheeks

“You never told me that.” Lara said, eyebrows raised

Dana shot a glare at Jenny and sighed. “Sorry.”

Lara gave Dana a kiss. “We should do that sometime.” She whispered in Dana’s ear, making Dana blush an even deeper red

“I’ll call Al.” Shane said, trying to turn the attention away from the beet red athlete. Shane picked up her phone and hit Alice’s number on speed dial
