As soon as Bette left the table, she stopped and took in a breath of air and let it out slowly. She stood there trying to take in this new sense of herself in being a part of a bigger whole. Her family that morning had consisted of Ozzie and her, and now she had two moms, two sisters and a brother. In a few minutes she found Allyn and apologized for her lack of professionalism.
Allyn just smiled and pulled her in for a hug and whispered that she was so grateful that she was also her daughter. She profusely apologized for the long wait with the reconnection. As Bette pulled away from the hug gently she smiled with tear-filled eyes and nodded her head. “It’s all okay… I’m just so grateful for you in my life… I could use two moms right about now. Thank you Allyn.” She whispered back, they shared another long hug and then off she went to sell art.
She soon ran into Bo and Stella and had a great time showing them around. She and Bo talked and laughed their way around the gallery. Stella finally found Ozzie and they sat together and munched on snacks. Bo soon picked up her daughter and they headed for home as she had some work to do. Bette let her know that she would call her soon. They shared a hug and the two departed.
Tina was at home relaxing, she sat on her stool at the bar gazing out the window at the garden. Her thoughts were filled with Kit and her sudden departure to go and see a friend in Florida. There was something about it that didn’t quite sit right with her. She soon found her hand reaching for her computer that was sitting on the bar top next to her. She opened it and was soon searching the Internet after having put ‘Bette Porter’ into the search engine.
What information popped up threw her. She discovered that her wife was in New York, working at a gallery owned by artist by the name of Allyn Barnes. She knew that name from long ago. Tina read further down the page and realized that there was a new show for four artists at the gallery during this weekend being presented by one Bette Porter. That’s where Kit had taken off to, she knew that in her bones.

Wow Bette has to be on emotional overload. I hope she has time to let all this sink in before Tina drops another bomb with her hidden pregnancy. I think if Tina wants to fight for Bette then she needs to do the uprooting and move to NY. Bette has made so much more progress and now has a life and family that love her in an environment she can flourish in. Tina, LA and their selfish friends would only bring her down, and the only reason she would return would be out of a sense of obligation to the child. I’m glad Tina is making progress but it appears her main motivation for doing any work on her self image is because she wants to get Bette back. She needs to do it for herself. Bette’s changes, her improvements and self-discovery were motivated by wanting to be a better Bette for Bette. The journey to herself and for herself allows her to really appreciate all the good things in her life. She has such a more position outlook of the person she is meant to be for herself which opens her heart, soul and mind to all the blessings she is receiving from others. I hope Tina will find that sort of self-knowledge too. She’s got to love herself before she can love and be lovable. Her journey shouldn’t be about getting Bette back and definitely not about using the baby as collateral to force Bette back into a life she ran away from. Thank you for this story. I’m always looking for new updates.
If she’s willing to fight, then Tina (and the baby) will most likely have to leave her life L.A. and be ready to embark on a new one, because I don’t see Bette leaving NY now. Thanks for posting.

Great update. So happy that both of them are finding themselves in a better place so that when contact is made they will be better able to talk to and forgive one another. And I hope it is really soon so that Bette and Ozzie can be there for the birth, especially Bette. It will be a awonderful time for them with Ozzie looking like Tina and Angelica looking like both of them. Can hardly for it all to happen since Bette had already wished for Tina to be with her when she first saw her mother. Tina write that letter now and explain about the baby and your counseling sessions and you want to see her again soon. Thanks.
I am glad that Tina has been making progress with her demons too. Now that they both have gotten to better places they will be better able to communicate with one another. Thanks for the update!
Well I’m glad to be hearing from Tina, these past three updates have been amazing and overwhelming for Bette …I hope kit tells Bette about Tina and the baby many that will make her call sooner
I feel like I have missed so much since the last time I was on the site..prolific writing and such a good story with so many turns… Emotional roller coaster for all..
