“Alice you might not have a future next time I see you because I am going to wring your little neck, but not now…. I am going home for a long soak in the bath”
Ok…OK..message received loud and clear….Bye”. Alice closes her cell
“Too easy Porter..She’s on her way home…come on we came in my car”
Tina is outside Bette’s apartment block and presses the intercom, Bette can see it’s Tina on the video screen.
“Yes”
“Is that your answer”
“That depends on the question”
“Can I come up”
“To be honest Tina I really don’t feel like having fun right now”
“Ouch…deserved….but still ouch……would it help if I begged”
“Maybe”
“Please….please…pretty please let me in”
Tina can hear the door clicking open, when she reaches Bette’s apartment the door is already open.
“Bette where are you”
“Hey…. I was turning the water off, i was going to go for a bath”
“Bette I’m sorry for being such an ass…I guess I over reacted….I can’t stand the thought of you touching someone else….of someone else touching you never mind how many”
“Tina all those woman are my past….you are my present….and until you said we are just having fun I was kinda hoping you would be my future….is that really what you think…we are just having fun, is that all I am to you”
“Do you really have to ask that question….” Tina walked up to Bette and wrapped her arms around her neck and placed a soft kiss on Bette’s lips.
“Tina I am not letting you seduce me so you can avoid answering that question”
Tina smiled
“Ok what are you to me….mmmm….let me think……you are the syrup to my ice cream…the cream to my strawberries…..the hot melted chocolate to my fudge cake….the whipped cream to my hot apple pie…
“Ok..ok…I get it” Bette marvels just how Tina can have her melting just by talking about food. She wraps her arms around Tina’s back and pulls her in close and is glad that her past is one hurdle that they have managed to clear, now all she has to do is convince Tina to move to another planet so they never actually bump into any of them
“Am I forgiven”
“No but theirs a bath in there with our names written all over it”
“Now you want some fun huh”

Hey Skimmer, glad you are re-posting this story. I loved it then and still love it now! Just to not, one of your early chapters (page 4-8 I think) was a repeat instead of the next chapter so there is a bit of a skip. Hugs…keep up the great work!
