What Becomes of the Broken: I Need to Work on Better Titles
"Because it’s late, dear. I need to get Alice her car back."
"Already taken care of. I called Shane this morning and she did it. So, no need to get up, right?" She mumbled as she turned over and started to sleep again.
"I’m gonna get up and get some breakfast. I need some clothes."
"Go through my drawers, I’m sure you can fit something."
"You sure.." Helena stopped talking when she realized Bette was asleep again. She smiled, "Silly woman."
She put on one of Bette’s tanktops and a pair of her pajama bottoms. She walked into the kitchen, retrieving some fruit and some yogurt. She toasted two bagels and brought everything to Bette’s room.
"Wake up, dear. For real, this time. I brought us some breakfast." Bette rolled over and sat up.
"You look hot in my clothes." Bette grumbled, with a smile. She began eating, as did Helena, "You said we have a lot to discuss today."
"Yeah, but its okay. I don’t think we should really talk about anything just yet. Let’s just go with the flow. Okay?"
"Are you one-hundred percent sure?"
"Yes." Helena reached for her cell phone and turned it on, "I need to check my messages."
Her first message was from Alice:
"What the frickin’ frack Helena! Why are you still out with my car? Where are you? You know what you have some explaining to. Bye."
Helena smiled and hung up. The next message was from Helena’s mom, Peggy.
"Darling, I’ve called you seven times today. Where are you? I really need to speak to you about a party, a gala if you will, that I’m having and I’m hoping my one and only daughter, the light of my life, will be in attendance. Call me back, if you’re not to busy with your dalliances with gambling and women."
Helena groaned.
"What’s wrong, baby?"
"I need to call my mother. She’s having a gala or something and she wants me to be there."

Helena left out of the bedroom to call her mother. She knew this phone call could be painful, to say the least. Peggy Peabody wasn’t always the greatest mother. In fact, she was a bad mother most of the time. Distant and uninterested in her own daughter’s life.
"Peggy Peabody."
"Mummy, its me."
"Yes. I assume you’ve gotten my message. I want you to be at my gala. Its tomorrow. In London."
"London, mummy? I don’t have the money or access to a private jet…"
"Which is why I’m sending one to you. Pack for a week. Bring a date. Okay, darling? Goodbye."

Sizzling! Will Peggy be supportive or will she revert to “bad mother” mode?
Well it’s a good thing Peggy likes Bette. I week in London could be fun.
I was waiting for the arrival of Mamma P – great !!
Hey ash oh how I love Peggy, wish to see her more in the coming S5!!! WOW the sex was hot, but then again B&H are HOT!!! Love how you know Alice so well, when she left the message on the phone loved it,and Bette had it all planned out cause she called Shane before Helena had woken up. keep up the great work ash.
Dang those two can definitly create a lot of electricity when they’re together. so is Helena going to ask Bette to go with, she should Peggy’s always like Bette. I’m with patpez, where the hell was Peggy in S4, you gotta love that woman and Bette and Jodi would not have ended up together, nor would Helena be with Catherine. Hopefully along with B&T getting back together Ms. P shows up. I mean how many more new characters to we need, they can’t even keep the lines going for the ones they’ve got.
i love peggy…so what will b&h do in london? you write peggy so wel….keep it coming…
Loving your story. The two together are great. Your story is a delight, can barely wait for more. Thanks.
