Wendy – Bette!

She waves to the ranch owner who stops and smiles.

Bette – Hi, Wendy!

The redhead approaches with a grin.

Wendy – How are you?

Bette – I’m good! And you?

Wendy – Great! Are you going to the stable?

Bette – Yeah …

Wendy – Can I go with you? I want to see the horses.

Bette – Sure …

They walk together in the direction of the stable.

Bette – How is the movie going?

Wendy – So far so good, but it can be boring.

Bette – Boring?!

Wendy – Yeah … you know … wake up, memorizes lines, film scenes, go back to the hotel, and start all over again the next day. Have you watched Groundhog Day?

The brunette chuckles.

Bette – Not bad for a third day of work …

Wendy smiles.

Wendy – I’m sure you can make my third day more exciting!

They enter the stable.

Tina’s production office, afternoon: Tina is on the phone when Brian comes in.

Tina – OK, send me the contracts as soon as possible. (pause) Thanks, I’ll talk to you later!

She turns to Brian.

Brian – I can’t find Wendy! We are late for the scene. Soon the area will be under shade!

Tina – Have you checked her trailer?

Brian – Yep! I told you that the girl was trouble! It’s the second time in a couple of days!

Tina – I know, but she is talented, Brian! Let’s give her a chance! She still has some growing up to do.

Brian – On our movie?! We are not babysitters for spoiled child actresses!

Tina – Relax, OK? It’s going to work out!

Brian – OK … where is she?

The blonde sighs.

Tina – Let me find her!

Western Skies stable, afternoon: Tina is looking for Wendy around the patio. She looks in the barn. It’s empty. She then enters the stable and hears Wendy’s laughter. She rolls her eyes and walks toward the voice. The actress is talking to Bette and all smiles, while Bette puts the saddle on Charlie. The brunette smiles charmingly while the actress caresses Charlie. Tina approaches them.

Tina – Wendy!

The two women stop talking and turn to the blonde.
