    Tina – That’s awesome, Kit! Bette – What is left to do? Kit – Flooring in most cabins, the furniture and landscaping. Let’s go there tomorrow! Bette – OK. The older sister smiles. Kit – But that’s not the news I have for you. Bette – What is it? Kit grins. Kit – Your baby

    Tina – That’s awesome, Kit!

    Bette – What is left to do?

    Kit – Flooring in most cabins, the furniture and landscaping. Let’s go there tomorrow!

    Bette – OK.

    The older sister smiles.

    Kit – But that’s not the news I have for you.

    Bette – What is it?

    Kit grins.

    Kit – Your baby is going to have a baby!

    The brunette raises her eyebrows.

    Bette – What?!

    Kit – Charlie is going to be a daddy! Minnie is pregnant!

    The blonde raises her eyebrows.

    Tina – What?!

    Kit – Yep! We will have a baby foal by late July!

    Bette and Tina laugh.

    Bette – Oh my fucking God!

    Kit – Congratulations!

    Bette – To you too, Kit!

    The blonde hugs her and kisses her lips.

    Tina – Congrats, baby!

    Bette – You know what it means, don’t you?

    Tina – That you’re going to be a grandma!

    The brunette grins.

    Bette – Well … that too! But Minnie is your girl. You’re going to be a grandma too!

    Tina – I guess …

    Bette – And if she’s due in late July, it means that she got pregnant around last August.

    She smirks.

    Bette – Who is responsible for that?

    The blonde frowns.

    Kit – Someone who was taking Charlie and Minnie to the valley together!

    Bette – For some three weeks in late August.

    Tina laughs. Bette hugs both women on either side of her.

    Bette – Congratulations to all of us!

    Western Skies stable, morning: Bette and Tina are in the stable with Charlie and Minnie. The blonde hugs Minnie’s neck, the mare beginning to show a rounder belly.  

    Tina – Congratulations, mama!

    Bette caresses the mare’s face.

    Bette – You did good, Minnie!

    She turns to Charlie and pats him with a wistful smile.  

    Bette – My baby is a grownup now!

    The blonde hugs his neck.

    Tina – Congratulations to you too, papa! You two were very sneaky!

    She smiles. The brunette chuckles.

    The women leave the stable and Bette mounts Charlie. She extends her hand and helps Tina mount Charlie behind her.

    Bette – You could ride her still.

    Tina – She deserves a break. Besides, I like hugging my cowgirl.

    9. Beautiful loved the talk and walk with Bette and Tina. It was so loving and sweet. Love that Minnie and Charlie had a baby.. so cute.. all Tina’s fault… she was pining way for Bette while those two were taking advantage of their time alone lol.. glad Kit has her kids ranch open…Helen and Bette sceconds..lol.. hope they will be happy together lol..
