Bette – So Kit was right! She was all over you!
Tina props herself up and rests against the pillow.
Tina – No! She was respectful but … of course, I could tell. But nothing like all-over-you Joanna … or all-over-you Giuliana, for that matter!
Bette looks down.
Bette – Was that all?
Tina – No, she finally told me that she is attracted to me and …
Bette – And?!
Tina – She tried to kiss me.
Bette – She tried to kiss you?! So you had a moment with her!
The blonde chuckles.
Tina – Maybe … an almost moment.
Bette sighs.
Bette – An almost moment with Helena fucking Peabody!
She attempts to stand up.
Tina – Baby …
She grabs the brunette’s hand, keeping her in bed.
Tina – Com’ere … let me explain.
Bette – What else is there to explain? She was all over you and you had a moment with her!
Tina rolls her eyes. She straddles the brunette’s hips and grabs her face with both hands.
Tina – Listen to me, will you?
Bette sighs.
Tina – It was nothing! Just a small tiny moment!
The brunette pouts.
Bette – How small?
Tina – She never even kissed me.
Bette – Did you want to kiss her?
The blonde chuckles and shakes her head.
Tina – No … I am in love with someone else.
She kisses her girlfriend’s lips and wraps her arms around her neck.
Tina – It was all your fault anyway.
Bette – My fault?
Tina – I spent the entire dinner thinking about you. I was sad … half missing you and half mad at you after she told me that she saw you with Giuliana … And then she told me that she liked me … and she was wearing this beautiful white suit that reminded me of you …
Bette – You had a moment with Helena Peabody because of a fucking white suit?!
Tina chuckles.
Tina – You don’t need to understand but … she kind of reminds me of you somehow. Didn’t you say that you are both alike?
Bette – Not so that my girlfriend would canoodle with her!

Good conversation between them. And Wendy promlem seems solved. But i don’t understand – Bette suggest that they officially moving together, or Tina will be travelling between two cities – SF and LA?
Love when the Author has Tibette communicate as honest, maturing adults. And an assertive, descriptive Tina always works!!!

A sequel does sound good tho.. we could see how bette’s n tina’s life in between San Fransisco n LA..how they manage to maintenance their relationship ;)
