She looks her baby sis up and down.

Kit – I even think that you put on some weight!

Bette rolls her eyes.

Bette – I don’t think so, Kit!

She wraps an arm around her sister’s shoulder.

Bette – She told me that she came over for dinner.

Kit – Oh yeah … how long have I asked you for a sister-in-law? Now that I’ve got one here, I’m enjoying the company.

They enter the kitchen.

Maria – Hi, Bette!

Bette – Hi, Maria! How are you?

She hugs Maria.

Maria – Very happy for you! She is a nice girl!

Bette turns to her sister.

Bette – Kit!

Kit – Oh, you thought I would not tell her?! With whom am I going to gossip about you?

Maria laughs.

Western Skies ranch, afternoon: Bette is walking to the stable when Wendy calls her.

Wendy – Bette!

The brunette turns around.

Bette – Hi, Wendy!

The actress approaches and kisses her on the cheek.

Wendy – I haven’t seen you in a while!

Bette – I had to work. How are you doing?

Wendy – I’m great! Are you gonna stay long?

Bette – No, I just came to see … uh … my sister. (pause) And my horse! I have to go now.

Wendy – OK. See you later …

Bette – See you.

She enters the stable.

Tina’s office, afternoon: Tina is in a meeting with Brian and Jen.

Tina – And I think we should schedule these two scenes together for …

Minnie’s neigh is heard, followed by Charlie’s in the distance.

Tina – Uh … for the second half of next week. That way, we can wrap up the summer scenes before the break.

Jen writes down.

Jen – OK.

Tina – Uh … I’ll be right back!

She stands up and leaves in a hurry. Brian looks at Jen inquisitively. The assistant shrugs.
