    ——————————- Bette’s office, evening: Bette enters her office and walks over to her desk where she picks up her purse. As she is about to leave, she notices something on the floor in front of the desk. She picks it up. It’s Tina’s earring. She smiles, gazing at it.   ———————— San Francisco restaurant, night:

    Bette’s office, evening: Bette enters her office and walks over to her desk where she picks up her purse. As she is about to leave, she notices something on the floor in front of the desk. She picks it up. It’s Tina’s earring. She smiles, gazing at it.

    San Francisco restaurant, night: Bette is having dinner with Alice and several other people. She charmingly talks to people but she looks anxious. She sighs.

    Alice – Relax, you look antsy, the blonde mutters.

    Bette – What?!

    Alice – People may notice. You hardly ate your dinner tonight.

    The brunette shrugs.

    Bette – I’m not very hungry …

    Alice – Don’t worry! She won’t fall asleep!

    Bette – I don’t know what you’re talking about.

    Alice – Tiiinaaaa …

    The gallery owner bites her lower lip.

    Bette – What did I ever do to deserve you?

    Alice laughs.

    Alice – I know that you are going to see her tonight.

    Bette – Who are you? A detective?!

    Alice – Close! I’m a journalist! And a good one at that!

    Bette smirks.

    Chapter 23

    Four Seasons Hotel room, night: Bette arrives at room 1214 and knocks. She has changed into dark blue jeans, an off-white blouse and a tan linen jacket. She waits a second and takes the card from her pocket. The door abruptly opens wide. Her heart stops. Her heart seems to stop every time she gazes at the woman in front of her. Tina is barefoot and has changed into a low-cut spaghetti strap black top and a black mini skirt. They smile at each other.

    Tina – Hi!

    The painter steps into the room.

    Bette – Am I too late?

    The blonde closes the door and pulls the brunette by the hand toward her.

    Tina – No. How was the dinner?

    Bette – It was long.

    She steps closer.

    Bette – I have something for you.

    She retrieves Tina’s earring from her pocket and opens her hand wide. The producer raises her eyebrows.

    Tina – Where was it?!

    Bette – On the floor of my office, in front of the desk.

    The blonde grins.

    Tina – I wonder what I was doing there …

      Finally! But Bette – you need to eat too, it give you a strength:)

      So, tomorrow Tina lives for a shooting, what Bette whould do? I guess we find out in next chapter.

    3. Oh what a delight to see them like this!!!

      A bit worried that Tina has to go back to the set the next morning. Maybe Bette can join her.

      It really sucks you will not update that much the next weeks, just when i am free this week.

      I am looking forward to the next chapters!

    4. Wow nice. Sound like Bette has found her home. I think hers and Tina’s worlds have just changed for the better. How will they deal with being apart. Once you have had a taste of love never let it go. I have a feel there is still some burning going on. Time for Tina to have a little taste. Lol thank you.
