    And so it begins…

    CHAPTER ONE

     

     

    The trembling child sat in the police station…Just her and two detectives…She felt so scared…So alone, but the 2 officers had been really nice to her so far…

     

     

     

    "I’m Detective Angus Parsons and I’m just going to ask you a few questions about tonight Honey, would that be okay?"

     

     

     

    Angelica stared up at the policeman…She looked completely terrified…The events she had witnessed tonight had really shaken the 8 year old…

     

     

     

    They just continued to play, over and over again in her head…

     

     

     

    "Sweetie?…Would that be okay?" Parsons asked in a soft voice, bringing the child back to the present.

     

     

     

    Angie nodded.

     

     

     

    "Thank you. Okay…I know this will be difficult for you honey, but it’s really important that you tell me and DCI Moorland over there exactly what happened in your house tonight…Do you think you can do that?"

     

     

     

    "Uhmm…O-Okay…" The youngster stuttered. She was absolutely terrified. Her thin little body shook with emotion, and her eyes filled with tears….As she recollected the events of the evening in her head…

     

     

     

    "It’s okay Angelica….We promise that whatever occured in your house tonight was NOT your fault…We are here for you, and we won’t let anything bad happen to you, okay sweetheart?" The detective said, reassuringly.

     

     

     

    "Y-You w-won’t p-put me in p-prison?" The frightened slip of a girl asked.

     

     

     

    "Of course we won’t honey! – We are here to help you," Angus said with a smile…Though internally his heart was breaking…

     

     

    "Now..What did your daddy do to your mommy tonight?"

     

     

     

    Silence.

     

     

    But DCI Moorland noticed that the youngster flinched at the mention of the word ‘father’.

     

     

     

    "Angie?…It’s really important that you tell us the truth honey"

     

     

    "N-No!..I C-cant!!! H-Henry said it’s n-nobody’s b-business what h-happens in h-his home!! – I w-want my mom! – Please c-can I g-get my mom?!!"

     

     

     

    The detectives hearts were breaking for this nervous, traumatised child…

     

     

     

    "Your mom is in hospital Angelica…Remember we watched her get taken away in the ambulance?"

    6. Aaawwww, poor baby, she has seen and felt too much hurt and pain. Where the heck is Bette and hopefully Tina will be alright. Does Angie even know Bette or does she know any of the others, Kit maybe. Very heartbreaking and interesting. I say let’s all get together and beat the hell out of henry. Thanks for posting.

    7. Can I kill Henry before the police takes him to jail please? This is so heartbreaking, poor Mother and Child. Where is Bette? Angie needs her gosh!! how horrible is that?Of course we will be on the ride with you please continue. CAn’t wait to see the part where Henry will pay for hearting the most important people in Bette life. PPVS
