Traced in the Stars: Chapter 11-Wet and Wild

    Carmen: You, Me Alex…we’re what?

Shane smiled and pulled something off the top of her head.

Shane: Gonna get Ice Cream right after we get out of here!

    Carmen smiled.

    Carmen: I like Ice Cream.

    She handed Alex a bag.

    Carmen: Your favorite.

Alex opened the bag and pulled out a Wendy’s Double bacon CheeseBurger, with no tomatoes or Cheese. Then handed another bag to Shane.

    Shane: Thanks babe.

    Alex: Thanks Madre.

Carmen: No problem. SO, you two were talking about ice cream?

Alex: Yeah, I was umm, dreaming of Rolo Ice cream during the umm coma.

Shane: After she told me that, I thought maybe when she gets out, we can go get some.

    Carmen smiled. They all ate.

Carmen: Oh, Alex the school’s basketball coach called. He asked how you were doing and said that if you think you can recover within a month and a half, you’ve still got a place on the squad.

    Alex: Really?

    Carmen nodded.

Carmen: He said that he looked over your file from your previous school. Aparently, he really liked what he saw.

She smiled and finished the burger. Then, Alice appeared in the door.

    Alice: Knock, knock.

    Alex smiled wide.

    Alex: ALICE!

    Alice: How you doin’ kid?

Shane and Carmen greeted their friend each with a hug. Then Alice took a seat.

    Alice: SO, what’s new?

    Alex: I’m alive.

Alice: Yeah, heard about that. You doin ok?

Alex: Great, besides my girlfriend hasn’t showed up yet.

Alice: Well, Lara met you, you were still in that nasty coma, but she wants to meet you again.

Alex: Great, I heard she’s pretty hot.

Alice: She’s alright. So, u up for some Video Games?

Alice pulled out a PS2 from her huge purse.

Alice: I had to sneak it in.

    Alex smiled.

    Alex: Awesome!

    Shane turned to Alice, confused.

Alice: Go ahead mommies, have your fun. I’ll keep her entertained.

Carmen looked over at Shane who smiled.

    Shane: Alright.

She got up, and kissed Alex’s forehead. Alex gave her a hug.

    1. You can’t even understand how happy i was when i found that there were 3 pages made my night great chapter as disgusting as it is if shane didnt take a shower before the sex its kinda romanitc in a way like they want each other NO MATTER WHAT! so either way i really don’t care just update again OR ELSE!!!!

    2. Shit, I almost jumped out my chair when I saw that there was three pages . . . . I’m so glad that the FAMILY is back on track. Earlier when Alex was tellin what was goin’ on while she was in her coma, what exactlly did she mean when she said ‘4’? Carmen is gonna actually be able to get pregnant; either that or their gonna’ get a dog. LMFAO!!! Anything with Alice is just plain funny, but Jess betta’ chill out, I mean Alice is a GAW, “A Grown Ass Woman”, and if you mess with someone as crazy as Alice, you’re playin’ with fire. lmfao!!! Anyways, great job, keep it up . . . LYLAS ;-p

    3. I finally caught up on reading this story, and I’m relieved the McCutcheons are safe, happy, and full of love again. It was a little hard to wrap my head around the idea that Carmen would want a divorce over things as petty as Shane showering everyday, but these last couple chapters fixed all that. I especially liked the part with Dana. I’m not a religious person, but I thought you brought this aspect of spirituality and angelic protection quite beautifully and fittingly. Of course, I can’t forget about Alice. I’m glad she has a great role in this story; she adds levity everywhere she goes. Keep up the great work, because I can’t wait to see what happens with this (possibly growing?) family.
