Tomorrow – Chapter Twenty-Seven (Final chapter)

    Chapter Twenty-Seven

    BP narration

I arrived at the hospital, feeling drained of any ability to think. I went straight to her room, sitting in the chair I had occupied the past week.

I held her hand. The silence was once again taking over. Shane came, we talked a bit. She had to go again, but I didn’t mind. I wanted time alone with Tina. It could be my last few moments any moment and I didn’t realise it. She could leave this life any second.

I was looking at her and my heart truly ached. Her blonde hair, that familiar face. I felt so overwhelmed with love. I prayed to any God to let her live. She so deserved to live.

I took my chair a little closer and took hold of her hand. I squeezed it slightly.

“I love you so much, Tina, please survive. There is so much left to do. You shouldn’t be here, you should be at home. That night you went looking for me and this horrible accident happened, I had been thinking a lot. I’m so sorry, Tina, for not calling you, for not keeping my promise, for making you worry, for causing all of this. I understand that if you wake up from this, there is the chance you’ll hate me and you’ll walk away from me. It would hurt me so badly, but I would understand. The thing is, if you find a way for forgiving me, I want to ask you something really important. I want to have a baby with you, Tina. If you don’t leave me, that is. I’d understand if you would, but you would break my heart and I would never be able to love again.”

“I will never stop loving you,” a familiar voice said. I blinked my eyes. Was that really Tina? I was just convincing myself that I was hallucinating because of a serious lack of sleep when she opened her eyes. Her hazel eyes. I gasped for breath.

“Tina? Are you awake?” I pinched myself. I was really far gone.

“I just am. I heard your little speech.”

“I… please, stay with me, Tina, I’ll go and get the doctor.”

I squeezed her hand and kissed her cheek very carefully. I ran out, in search of the doctor. I didn’t know where his office was, so I went to the nurses.

    1. Thank you for giving Tina back to Bette. Bette love for her was so strong and Tina love for Bette and everyone that knew her and that she could do more alive for many more. thanks

    2. Who, pray tell, is Francis Bowry? Great story and I hate to see it end so soon. Maybe a SEQUEL is in order for this story. Happy that Tina survived and she doesn’t blame Bette. They are, indeed, all that the other needs.

    3. Thank you for this happy ending, I didn’t think I could take her death, you did a wonderful job darling, you are one of the best, and I hope to see another amazing story soon. Have a great day
