    Five years after the fall of B&T

     

    Bette heard the door and thought it must be Sawyer finally coming to get her car.  Thank god someone to keep her company until Tina called.  It was a quarter til seven. She had fifteen minutes to call.

     

    Bette opened the door and there stood Sarah.  Sarah looked pissed, but it was more than that, her look was one that scared Bette.  She had the look of someone that was not in their right mind.

     

    Meanwhile Tina was calming down with a glass of wine before she called Bette.  She couldn’t believe she had slapped Bette.  She didn’t condone violence and hated to see it happen, but Sarah had brought it on her self.  She had never seen Sarah behave in that way and it was not something Tina wanted to see again.  It made Tina question who the real Sarah was. Why had she not seen this in her before now?  Tina took another sip of the wine, just as she was picking up the phone to call Bette it rang.  She smiled thinking it was Bette checking on her.  It wasn’t, it was Kit.

     

    Bette looked at Sarah and finally spoke.

    Bette:  “Sarah, what do you want?”

    Sarah:  “I want to know why you have to come back here and ruin my life.”

    Bette:  “Sarah I’m not going to do this with you.  Please leave before I call the cops.”

    Sarah:  “You have ruined my life, my life with Tina.”

    Bette:  “Sarah, I’m not telling you again.  Please leave.  Now.”

    Sarah:  “Just one more thing..*****.  Tina is mine and always will be,  leave her alone.” 

    With that Sarah raised her hand in the air.  Bette saw the glint of something shiny in her hand.  She put her arm up to defend her self.  The knife sliced her forearm.  Bette screamed in pain.  Bette grabbed Sarah’s arms and threw her to the floor.  They wrestled and rolled on the floor, Sarah still had the knife in her hand.  She was stabbing at Bette the best she could.  Bette managed to fight her off and landed a blow to Sarah’s stomach with her foot.  The knife came down and stabbed Bette in the thigh.  With that Bette started punching anything she could come in contact with.  She landed a right hook to Sarah’s face and then her stomach.

    5. Did someone say action, wow! Bette immdeiately asked Sawyer to call Tina, nice double meaning there?!…one check to see if Sarah had attacked Tina as well as to let Tina know what happened to Bette, nice that Tina was top of mind for Bette. Love the baby and T usage. They were coming back to together anyway, but this crisis will make the small stuff that comes up look really small and they’ll be able to stay focused on each other. Please don’t let Kit near Sarah it would be both hilarious and criminal! Keep it coming!

    7. Can I just say I really love your character Sawyer. She’s just awesome. They need someone like that on the real show. Wonderfully exciting chapter! Can’t wait for the next chapter.

    11. OMG goldie, I didn’t see that one comming. I am glad that Bette got some GOOD shots in and that she is going to be okay. So mmuch for Sarah (Poor Tina, she seems to be paired with some loonie tunes when she is not with Bette ie Helena in the series and Sarah here. Both bats out of hell.) It makes me wounder what Tina and Sawyer’s relationship will be like. We know that she was a little jealous at first because she thought that Bette was interested in her, but now that she saved Bette’s life (She may have mixed feelings because Sawyer was there for Bette instead of her, and she feels that she caused the whole thing.) Kit probably won’t be able to kiss Sarah’s butt because she will be in jail. On will the B&T loving and TLC. I do believe that Bette needs some T time, and T needs to be with her babe. Excellent chapter Goldie, please continue, LOVIN IT.

    12. OMG goldie!! My jaw dropped open reading this! Sarah went more than ballistic. She went nucking futs!!! Thank goodness for Sawyer and her good timing. I’d hate to think what would’ve happened if she hadn’t come when she did. Boy does Sarah have a few screws loose. I hope that’s the last we see of her.

    14. Is she nuts. What like she just figures if she kills Bette, Tina will go with her. Wacko, don’t think so. Please just once let Kit kick some ass on behalf of her sister. Tina called her “baby” awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, there just too cute, time for some togetherness cos Bette will need some of Tina’sLovingCare.

    16. Goldfish, I didn’t see that coming either! Drama indeed!! So, how about this for the next chapter? Bette, although hurt physically, will be soothed mentally and physically by T’s pampering. This little ‘accident’ will drive B&T closer, which is quite the opposite of what Sarah wanted to achieve. Meanwhile, Bette will not press charges against Sarah, making her appear all the more magnanimous and big at heart to T. Sarah will plead insanity and be locked up forever. B & T will be on their way to being together forever and ever, amen!!

    36. Thank you for your sweet words, dear Goldfish ! It’s SO easy to become your loyal reader, simply because it’s such a delight to read you. I always loved each one of your stories, you know, and this one is more than ever a proof of your real talent. I mean it.

      God, how silly I was to think Sarah would be violent with Tina, when it was SO more logic that she’d go to find relief attacking her rival after so much frustration and humiliation.
      The scene between them was excellent and I especially appreciate the way you managed to depict so much fury and madness without let the story becomes melodrama (an other author would have show us an almost dying Bette in a lake of blood and then we would have seen few intense chapters at ER with a crying-oceans Tina, dead of fear !)
      But with our wonderful Goldfish and her magical touch, this pick of violence was an ideal way to depict a great mix of emotions : Sarah’s painful “awekening” from craziness, beginning to realize what she did – and how she definitly lose Tina – ; Bette only thinking about Tina and suddenly forgetting everything else but how her beloved has just called her; Tina letting her deep feellings express themselves thanks to her overwhelming worries…
      My, my… you melt me so much with this simple line :
      “Bette: “T, you called me baby.” She smiled as Tina leaned in and kissed her fore head.”

      … ah, that’s what I call Goldfish’s touch ! So simple and deep at the same time… Simplicity of style serving true emotions.

      Hmm… but I wonder if we can really say “farewell” to Sarah… A so intense character like her is always such an ideal provider of drama ! And, well, even if her reaction was as frightening as Glenn Close’s one in Fatal Attraction (!), I cannot help but feeling really sorry for her… One-side loves always move me a lot because it’s one of the cruelest feeling one can experiment in life.

      You’re truly a Gold Fish, one of the most talented authors here for me, and it’s both a joy and a privilege to be your reader. Thank you, more than ever !!
