”And why is that?” I ask as our drinks come. Looking over at Josh I hold his gaze. ”No offense, Josh.”
”None taken.” He smiles at me and Tina. ”I’ve been covering entertainment in LA for seven years and all the reporters and the film crews who’ll be at the ”Les Girls” Press conference tomorrow I work with daily.”
”I’m still lost.” I frown at Tina, ”Are we supposed to do interviews right now with him to scoop his buddies so we can get what? His help?” I turn to Claire, ”I thought you had this handled.”
”How did the move go, Bette?” Claire asks.
”You weren’t by any chance emotionally attached to either of our bedside lamps were you, Tina? Because I broke them into a million pieces.”
”She took care of it.” Tina answers flatly to Claire. Then to me, ”Claire’s come up with a few ideas and I told her before we drove to my place we should meet with her so she could brief you. I know how surprises make you feel blindsided.”
”And that’s never good.” I motion to the waiter to bring me another glass of Chianti as mine has begun to disappear the longer I sit in this booth. ”Alright, I appreciate that. Fill me in. I’m starting to feel better.”
Shaolin Production Offices – Monday 8 am
As I pull into my assigned space behind the rows of trailers that appeared late last week I’m relieved that the parking lot is still nearly empty. I turn off my car and slide my seat back slightly. I had wanted to be here by 7 to really have the time to organize myself before meeting with Aaron and later Claire, but for me and Angelica waking up with Bette this morning knocked us way off our weekday routine.
Just an hour ago we had made breakfast and filled my small apartment with the smells of eggs and coffee and toast. Last night along with being grateful we were together again as a family I had felt a huge sense of relief as the dank, shadowy pockets of emptiness in my rooms were consumed by Bette’s overwhelming wattage. The longer she was there the more they had retreated. I let out a jagged exhale. Those miserable days of being haunted by them appear to be over.

Brilliant ! I loved We-Ho but this Season 7 promises to be Fantastic! This chapter is so great – I hear Bette as I read of so clearly and Joyce what a hoot!
My favourite couple plus a great version of Joyce plus a nod to Hitchcock and Brandy – what more could I want – Answer – another Chapter please soon!

Gosh, loved that chapter. Too bad IC couldn’t come up with something similar to give us, it would have been awesome. Of course, she couldn’t really do that because Jenny was patterned after her own life, so she siad in interviews. Blackbird, you’re awesome. Thanks for posting.

Just finally caught up with your latest installment. And as promised I would leave a comment. You have always amazed me with your writing and i also like the pics.
How I wish that there was really a season 7 where Jenny didn’t die bcoz when she died in S6, the show also ended with a lot of questions most esp. if someone killed her or she must have just fall by her own doing.
Anyway, thanks for exploring this for us. I am excited for their announcement and of course I’m also looking forward for Bette’s reunion with her mom.

Ok first off I have to apologise for missing this story I don’t know why but I by passed it for some reason anyway iv spend the weekend reading it from the beginning and I didn’t want to leave a message until I was all caught up ok so here goes absolutely loved it and as it goes on it just gets better and im loving all the twists and turns and im so pleased you got to put jenny in here place lol great so im looking forward to the next chapter so pps.

There must be an easier, more logical way. Other authors have each chapter listed so one can select the story or chapter that one wishes.
