    Author Notes:

    Tina felt nervous, even though she was usually very at ease with the brunette. She cleared her throat and tried to figure out why she had these butterflies in her stomach.

     

    "Well, what would you like to eat?" Bette asked with a smile as she unlocked the door and swung it opened, gesturing for Tina to enter.

    "Umm, it depends on what you have," Tina smiled back, walking in before Bette.

    Bette smiled at the view. ‘I’m terrible,’ she thought, following Tina in and closing the door behind her. "I’m really not sure," she chuckled, "To be honest, I don’t cook very much."

    "That’s okay," Tina nodded with a smile, "Let’s take a look then."

    Bette got shivers from the way Tina spoke to her.

    "Oh my gosh," Tina giggled after opening the fridge and bending over to look inside. "What the hell?"

    Bette was mesmerized by the sight of Tina hunched over in her kitchen. She smiled at the idea of waking up to that vision every day.

    "I can’t believe it … there’s … there’s like nothing in here," Tina laughed as Bette approached, crossing her arms over the top of the fridge door.

    "Well, to be honest, I don’t cook much," Bette smiled, feeling relaxed with Tina at her side.

    "Yeah, no kidding," Tina giggled, standing back up again. The smile she gave to Bette made both women shift on their feet.

    "Okay, well today is special, so I will cook," Bette offered, closing and fridge and walking around to the counter.

    "We," Tina corrected her with a flirtatious smile, "We will cook."

    "Well thank you," Bette said, watching Tina lean against the counter.

    "Only one problem," Tina said, looking over to her, "We need food."

    "Right," Bette said, as if just remebering the point.

    "Well, there were a few things. Maybe we could make sandwiches."

    "Or we could run out to grab some groceries."

    "No no," Tina insisted with a smile, raising her hands up slightly, "We can work with what you have."

    ‘Mmm I’m loving this already,’ Bette thought with a grin. "That sounds great."

    After fishing out some vegetables out of the fridge, they started washing and cutting them while they spoke.

    "Oh my god, your tomatoes are so thin!" Tina chuckled, cutting the lettuce into smaller pieces.

    "Hey, hey," Bette defended with laughter, "They taste the best this way."

    "They do?" Tina said with disbelief, raising an eyebrow to Bette’s lie.

    7. Thanks so much for taking time away from your studies to post for us. Love the story. Also love the way Bette is being so gentle with Tina in not rushing her into intimacy. But something tell me that Tina will be the one to take the first step towards intimacy with them. She seems ready for it. Your studies come first so post when you can.

    25. Ok so they made it through lunch but no way they will make it through the movie – right? And i loved the last line “She just looked into Bette’s eyes longingly” – wow not a bad way to leave us anxiously awaiting more! Your stories are the best ! PPS
