Till We Meet Again // A B/T Beginning Story Chapter 32

“Who are you and what did you to with my Tina?” Bette demanded mockingly while Tina threw her head back in laughter at her facial expressions.

She unclasped her seatbelt, doing the same for Bette, and reached back to grab her handbag.

“Come with me. Or do you need some other incentive?”

“Your wish is my command, Tina. I love you”

Tina smiled and pushed a wet strand of hair away from Bette’s face. “I love you too. Don’t ever forget that.”

They both got out of the car and Tina opened the trunk to pull out an Adidas sports bag, before locking down the car.

Before Bette could raise more questions, Tina answered them for her,

“It’s my gym bag. I bought some change of clothes and accessories.”

Alright, since when does clean-freak Tina go to the gym? The warning bells were blaring in her head, but her heart ignored them. And her body had other plans.

    “ACHOO!”

    Fairbanks Tennis Courts, Los Angeles

Candles glittered at all corners of the tennis court, lightening up the dark moonless night. But all was not light in the life of the tennis star, who had finally spilled her true feelings to Alice, only to be slapped with a note of betrayal.

“No, you lied to me Alice. You were going to destroy my career to become some hotshot CEO of a magazine? I only hope that it would have been worth your while.”

“That’s the point. It wouldn’t be worth my while. In this short time I have spent with you, I have come to like you. You’ve inspired me to pursue my dreams, dreams I had given up on long ago.”

“Well, Congratulations Alice. Either way, you got something you needed. Please just let me be.”

    “No…”

    “Why not?”

Alice didn’t know how to answer that question or what to say. She stared back at Dana helplessly, hoping the tennis star would read the sincere feelings behind her actions.

Maybe Dana misread the signals. Before Alice could clue-in on what was happening, Dana leaned down to kiss her. She managed to turn her head, so Dana missed her lips, connecting with her right cheek instead.

Startled, Alice pushed back. “I’m sorry Dana, I can’t.”

What the hell? Her mind was screaming. This was wrong, so wrong on so many levels. Even if she and Bette were not on talking terms, they had yet to dissolve their relationship officially. And Alice was not sure that she wanted to let go without a final battle.

    1. It’s about time these two got together and put out some of those raging fires they’ve built in one another and can express their love for one another in the only way they can. With that preview of ch. 33, I can hardly wait to read the rest of the chapter. Hopefully Tina will get a chance to see Peggy and let her know what Helena has been up to and how she has intentionally destroyed Bette’s career and tried to take her life as well. And above all hopefully Peggy will believe Tina with whatever proof she has found to show to Peggy. Loved both these chapters and waiting with baited breath for the next one. Thanks for taking the time to post.

    2. I’m really upset to hear of your troubles. The immigration system is SO seriously flawed-it boggles my mind!!So you taking the time to post another FANTASTIC piece of this LOVELY story is SO VERY MUCH appreciated!! The depthfeelings you express with them is AWESOME! Good luck friend and hopefully we will hear from you soon!

    3. Tina needs to get Bette out of those wet clothes. A nice hot bath and some fine loving should do the trick. Alice and Dana are good together. I CANNOT wait for chap 33, very hot!!!!!! Great update. Please post soon.

    4. Mav – I’m just sick to hear about your immigration woes. Thankfully we have an administration that is a little more open to actually listening to the needs of the public. I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts and wishing you a speedy resolution in this obviously flawed system. Now for the story — This chapter simply wet my appetite for more – the teaser was sheer torture to read which I’m certain was planned. If you’d be in trouble for anything it would be leaving us hanging like you have until the next mid-week. Ahhhh! I’m trying to stay positive though. You’ve returned and blessed me with more of your wonderful writing so I have much to be grateful for — peace and safe travels.

    5. Please know you’re in my thoughts. I cannot believe what you’re dealing with…and I am sending you good luck as you continue through what sounds like one hellish experience. Thank you for posting another brilliant chapter…

    6. Good luck with your immigration problem. I hope things sort out well for you and you get to stay put. Take care.:) Thank you so much for posting with all that you’re going thru. It was a great chapter.

    7. Mav- I am so sorry that you are going through these immigration problems and I sure hope they work out in your favor. I will send lots of positive thoughts and energy your way! Thanks for the update and I will do anything you ask to make this a happily ever after. pps

    8. If your family is allowed to stay, and they must have brought you here with the govt’s permission in the first place, if you were only 14, why can’t you stay too? What difference does it make *now*, after 10 years? Makes no sense whatsoever… Wacky immigration laws, I don’t get them. Good luck, though. Chapter: $900 is a lot of money for a room, if it’s not going to be put to… “good use.” I hope Alice is coming to finish with Bette. She must realize that she wants to move on to someone else, who wants her and wants to build something with her. Great chapter as always. Next chapter looks to be really… Let’s jsut say I can’t wait. Thanks!

    9. yay! another chapter *does a little dance* happy happy happy :) About your AN,things are that bad? *shock*. From what I see, USA is a country built on/for immigrants, heck arent most of the people “settlers” (historically)? Anyway, I dont know much about the politics, laws or history for that matter, so here’s hoping that your troubles go away.
