Bette ended the phone call and jumped in her car. She drove as fast as she could and almost got in an accident. When she arrived at Alice’s apartment, she ran to the door and pushed the speaker button.
Bette: “Al, please let me in. I’ll explain everything.”
Even though Tina begged Alice to not let Bette in, there was some mysterious force that made Alice open the door. Bette came in and sat down next to Tina. She tried to hold Tina’s hand but Tina pulled back.
Tina: “Don’t touch me Bette! Leave me alone, you cheating *****!”
Bette: “Tina, look in my eyes. Look in my eyes Tina.”
Tina: “No! How long have you been ***** her Bette? How long? Tell me!”
Bette: “Tina please look in my eyes.”
Tina finally looked in Bette’s eyes. Bette held Tina’s hand, this time Tina didn’t pull back.
Bette: “Tina, I swear to you, I did not cheat on you. She came into my office and told me her father just had a stroke and probably wasn’t going to make it. She started crying and I comforted her. Yes, I hugged her. She’s just a friend. Yes, she kissed me, but I didn’t kiss her back. I pushed her away and told her I had a girlfriend that I love with all my heart and that I would never hurt. She apologized and left. That’s it. You have to believe me Tina, I would never hurt you. I’ve never loved anyone as much as you, I just can’t stand seeing you so hurt. I’d do anything to prevent you from any pain. Believe me Tee, please.”
Tina looked in Bette’s eyes again and saw that she really meant what she said. She didn’t cheat on her, she was telling the truth.
Tina: “I believe you Bette.”
Bette hugged Tina and kissed her on the forehead. She smiled at Tina and Tina nuzzled her face in Bette’s hear. Bette took Tina’s hand and stood up.
Bette: “We’re going to leave Al. Thanks for taking care of her.”
Alice: “I’m sorry I yelled at you Bette.”
Bette: “It’s okay. I would have done the same thing if I thought you had hurt Tina.”
Bette and Tina took Bette’s car to their apartment. They would come to pick up Tina’s car tomorrow.

When Tina entered their apartment and saw the romantic setting in front of her, she cried again.
Bette: “T?”
Tina: “They’re happy tears Bette. I love you so much baby.”
Bette: “I love you more T. You just sit down at the table, I’ll warm up our plates in the microwave.”
Bette and Tina shared a romantic dinner. The glow of the candles on Tina’s face made her look even more beautiful. Bette felt the desire building inside her and decided it was time to move on to desert.
Bette: “You want some desert baby?”
Tina: “What is it?”
Bette: “Strawberries whit whipped cream.”
Tina: “Sounds delicious. We should eat them in the bedroom, don’t you agree?”
Bette: “I’m with you on that.”
