In each of our worlds things are not always what they seem.  Here in a small corner of West Hollywood lives a group of women whose paths in life have come together within the walls of 431 Chateau D’Amis. 

The chateau is a charming old-world spanish style eight-unit townhouse village.  Guarded by a beautifully adorned cast-iron gate, you’re welcomed by a sparking pool taking center stage of the courtyard.  Blooming flowers and lazily adorned ivy warm the doorways and patios of its residents with tall palm trees tucked into the four corners.

As you pass under the archway of each home you’ll come to discover how very different but very similar the women of Chateau D’Amis are.  What ties bind them, what draws them and keeps them together?  While everything may seem normal at first: everyday has its routine, nothing out of the ordinary. Everyone just trying to live their lives, run their errands, get to work on time, and somewhere along the way find love – all the ordinary things one would come to expect to see with a group women who spend their days like they do every other day.  But everyone has dark kept secrets.  Everyone has demons they wrestle.  And everyone here knows just how to hide them or so they think.  You see, when friends have known one another long enough there’s not much one can hide.  So was it really that surprising when a booming gunshot rang out in the dead of night?  … That’s jumping ahead of ourselves.

First let’s take a look back when Paige Sobel and her son first moved out of this close-knit village.  They lived in unit seven when Paige first met Shane McCutcheon.  Ah yes, Shane McCutcheon she’s the chateau’s jack-of-all-trades and pool maintenance woman and at the time of meeting Paige, Shane had been in a really dark place after the loss of her little brother Shay.  Paige was just what Shane needed and the start of the family Shane thought she wanted.  But like all of Shane’s relationships to-date, it too ended in flames but this one was huge and literally ended in flames with the explosion of Shane’s pick-up truck.  Needless-to-say, Paige moved out – then there were seven.
