she lowered her head and said “yes, he is the father of baby Christina”

I flipped out and said “Tina, why didn’t you tell me this yesterday or earlier today atleast?” waiting for a response

she shrugged her shoulders and said “how was I suppossed to know that we were gonna have sex Bette?” she then said “it’s just happened, ever since we gazed into one another’s eyes we’ve both been dazed every since” she then said “and what’s makes it crazier is that we’ve only known each other for a couples of days.”

I still didn’t respond. She then said “is you don’t wanna take our relationship any farther I understand” she then said “you shouldn’t have to put your life on hold because I have a child” she added “you have a life to live as well” she sat waiting for a response

I said “where is she now?” I gazed over at her for the first time since she told me the news

she said “she’s over my mother’s” she then said “she usually watches her for me until I get there”

The thought of seeing her boyfriend around for the rest of her baby’s life was a nightmare. I thought he was gone and out of the picture for good. I looked over at Tina and saw that she liked me alot and wanted to get to know me alot better. And she did leave the boyfriend so when you think about it. I don’t necessarily have to deal with the father. I’d only see him when he comes around. And the way it looks he may be a dead beat and he may not.

But I liked Tina alot and to let a guy come in and take over I can’t let that happen. I cared to much. There was something about her I just couldn’t get ennough of. I can’t tell you what it is. But one’s things for sure I’m still trying to find out. That would be a mystery that I’ll look forward to uncovering. I took her hand into my own and said ” okay, it’s fine that you have a daughter” I then said “I’m cool with it” I added “if your in it, I’m in there with you”

She embraced me immediately. I wrapped my long arms around her back. She laughed with joy as we rocked back and forth still hugging one another. She looked me in the eyes and kissed me. I smiled before her and she smiled before me. I then said “is there anything else I need to know?”

she laughed bowing her head before me. She said “no, that’s it” she kissed me again

I laughed and said ” okay”

There was a knock at the door. I turned around and said ” who is it?”

Alice said “Bette, the baby needs to be changed” she then said “and you know Shane and I don’t do dirty diapers” she adds “we’ll be waiting down stairs”

I said “okay” I laughed and so did Tina

She said “your right, they are cool and funny?”

I leaned in and kissed her. I said “you haven’t seen nothing yet” I stood and entended my hand and she took it

I lead her over to the door and opened it. We exited my room hand and hand and walked back downstairs.
