    chapter 11- phone call

                “What would you like to do Alice? We could kidnap them and lock them up until they work things out or kill each other.”

                “Well, that might work.” Alice ignores the sarcasm in the other woman’s voice.

                “Alice,” Charlotte heaves a big sigh. “What is that you want of me?”

                “Find out what happened!”

                “It is none of my business, nor is it yours.”

                Alice growls into the phone.

                Charlotte laughs and deepens her voice. “Well, we could have phone ***** but I don’t know how that is going to help Bette.” She laughs again. Alice is quiet.

                “Alice?” She purrs but gets no response.

                Charlotte returns to her normal voice. “Alice? Have I shocked you into silence?”

                “Where the ***** did that come from?”

                “I was trying to change the subject.”

                “Ya, that was one effective change of subject. I can’t remember what we where talking about.”

                “The most you will get out of me is I will call Bette and try to convince her to go out with us.”

                “With us?” Alice says seemingly from far away.

                “Yes, there is a band I am going to see tonight. We can go. It will do her good to get out.”

                “Ok.” Alice agrees weakly.

                “Are you ok?”

                “Yes” Alice squeaks.

                “I didn’t mean to tease you,” Charlotte says in her best innocent voice.

                Alice snaps out of her thoughts about the ***** woman on the other end of the phone. “You will call her?”
                “Yes.”

                “It won’t be easy.”

                Once again Charlotte makes her voice husky, “I can be very persuasive.”

                Alice laughs weakly, “I bet.”

                “See you at 8.”

                “K”

                Alice hangs up the phone.

                “I need a cold shower or to get laid. Damn that woman has a ***** voice.” Alice shakes her head. “What am I doing? Thinking about Charlotte. What about Dana? What about her, Alice? She is engages to be married to the car killer. Charlotte is single. I think. I don’t know anything about her. Tonight. Tonight I will find out more about her.”

    4. i agree with fergz, get charlotte and alice together and let tina and bette watch, maybe it will help them to make up…chapter was too short
