Tina slowly meandered up the walk that led the house, Bettes house, what used to be the house that they shared together as a committed married couple. Until Bette threw that all away. Tina shook her head. No, she wasnt going to think about that this day. This day was about Bette, and taking care of her.

First thing she needed to do was actually stop standing on the doorstep and go into the house so she could get Bette some clothes to wear. Tina figured she wouldnt leave her fathers side and was still probably wearing the dress shed award to the presentation the night before.

Unlocking the door Tina sighed as she thought of the previous night. When shed looked out into the crowd and hadnt seen Bette her heart had dropped. She thought that Bette had left in Tinas moment of triumph. To learn why she had left…was heartbreaking in a different way. She felt so bad for Bette.

Tina may not have been one of Melvins biggest fans but she understood his importance in Bettes life. He was her father, no matter what he ever did to her, he was still her father. Carefully Tina pushed open the door and entered slowly.

Silence met Tinas keen ears as she walked further into the house. It was exactly as she had left it all those months ago when shed walked out of Bettes life to start another. Once again shaking of her melancholy thoughts. Walking into the living room Tina had to pause and take a look around her. It had been a while since shed stood in this room. Even though the house was dark Tina could still make out the room.

Her eyes caught on one of her favorite paintings that she and Bette had bought together. Bette had kept it. Shed figured Bette would have gotten rid of a lot of things when Tina had walked out on her. This didnt seem to be the case. If anything shed kept the things that Tina had liked and taken down her own favorites. Her eyes caught upon a small frame on a shelf she hadnt seen before. Going over to it she saw that it was the ultrasound picture. Smiling Tina ran the fingers of her right hand over the picture and ran her left of the child growing within her.
