The Parent Trap
Bette walked into the Planet and walked over to Tina’s table. She smiled softly as Tina rose from her seat. She wrapped her arm around her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
“Good morning,” Bette took a seat.
“Morning—,” Tina sat down and smiled. “I hope you didn’t mind, but I ordered your coffee already.”
“I don’t mind,” Bette shook her head.
“So how was your night?” Tina took a drink of her coffee.
“It was okay, Jodi and I had supper together, and I stayed the night.” Tina nodded as she tried to keep her interest. She never liked Jodi and never will. She noticed how happy Bette was with her, but she didn’t want her to be happy with Jodi. She wanted Bette to be happy with her. She wanted her family again. A waitress brought Bette her coffee, and Bette thanked her. She took a drink and licked her lips.
“So how’s Trish?”
“She’s alright I guess.”
“I’m surprise that she wasn’t there last night for the recitation.”
Tina shook her head. “I didn’t invite her.”
“Okay,” Bette nodded. She wanted to stay away from the conversation about Trish. She felt like Tina wasn’t happy with her. They’ve been together for almost a year, and Tina never seemed happy. Bette felt like the only reason why Tina was in the relationship was to keep someone around.
“Angelica is staying with you tonight right?”
“Yeah,” Bette took another drink of her coffee. “There’s an art show tonight, and I wanted to take her to see what she could get her hands on when she gets older. Has she painted any lately?”
“I don’t know—she’s been keeping her nose in her homework. She’s becoming quite the book worm.” Tina smiled. “Y’know, I’m really glad that we can do this still.”
“Do what?”
“Just sit and talk.” Tina smiled.
Bette returned the smile warmly. “So do I.”

Angelica, Dana and Alice were on Shane’s door step, and Angelica knocked on the door. She looked back at her aunts and sighed.
“What if Auntie Shane doesn’t want to do it?”
“Don’t worry Angelica; Auntie Shane will have your back.” Alice gave her niece a reassuring smile. Angelica nodded, and Shane answered the door.

Very intresting start. Please continue. She’s right no one can compete with Bette, intentionally or not. Please post more soon.
Crap now I’ll have “Let’s Get Together” stuck in my head as I go to sleep and I’ll dream about it. LOL I’m surprised Shane easily agreed to help Angie get her moms back together. I figured she’d need some coaxing.
Can’t wait to see what they have in store for Bette and Tina. PPS
Hello AKcb, that was so sweet the whole family getting in on the possible reunion, this is how it should be… the family all together. I also love how you have Bette and Tina trying so hard not to step on one another’s toes and yet they are so very much in love. It is uncanny how we cannot see what is right in front of our faces. Tina should come straight (no pun intended :P) with Trish before she goes and makes things worse, Trish seems to really be warming up to Tina and it would be sad if she got hurt in the long run. Well my friend another brilliant story you are weaving… keep up the amazing work and good luck with your studies. Sincerely, JC
Tina and Bette have no chance with all four of them conspiring to get them back together. This is a real treat to read. Thanks
Well, we know that Tina is not happy and seems to just have a girlfriend so she is not lonely. Now how are Bette and Jodi going to be seperated???
Love how all the girls are willing to help Angelica work to get her moms together. Trish is not going to be a problem but jodi will be.
