Bette sits up suddenly; her eyes wide from being a little startled. Not expecting Tina to be here it takes a few seconds for her to gain her bearings and ask, Tina, what are you doing here?

Tina: Im here to get some more of my things and to get some answers. As she informs Bette of her intent she walks into the bedroom and pulls some suitcases from the closet.

Bette: Oh, OK Is the only thing she can think of to say. Although she is glad that Tina is home, she is disappointed that she is here to remove more of her stuff. The more stuff Tina removes the closer she is to removing herself from the life Bette and her shared for seven years. This thought always depresses Bette. She thinks about going into the bedroom and trying once again to beg for forgiveness but the last few times resulted in Tina storming out amidst a lot of cursing and yelling. So Bette concludes that trying again will only yield the same results and she is just too exhausted to get on that emotional rollercoaster right now.

After twenty minutes have passed Tina re-emerges from the bedroom with two suitcases and an overnight duffel bag. She eyes Bette still sitting on the sofa and decides to cut to the chase and inform her of the days events. I went to the Center today. Her statement causes Bette to turn around and face her. I went there to confront Can Not wanting to repeat her name, Tina finishes, to confront your carpenter.

Bette: At the mention of Candace, Bette looks away in shame. Not really wanting to discuss Candace but knowing it is inevitable, she reluctantly asks, Did you?

    Tina: Yes I did.

Bette: Her curiosity peeked. What happened? What did she say?

Tina: Well, first I called her a home wrecker and asked who the ***** did she think she was ***** my wife? Bette winces, dreading what Candaces reaction was to this question. Noticing Bettes wince, she carefully watches Bettes reaction to her next statement. My accusations must have troubled Mikela because she jumped into the discussion.

Bette: Mikela? with a combination of confusion and fear mixed in her voice. What – what was she doing there?

    1. Oh… a very good chapter. I can see anger, remorse. It seems Bette and Candace are right now in the reality of what they’ve do… to cheat on their women !

    2. Wow. This was great. Thanks for the length as well. I really liked the back and forth and mutual digust B&C feel for themselves and for each other. This Candance has some deep levels going on. Keep ’em coming gte!
